From which age we should not ask parents for pocket money?

from as early as u can.. 18 sounds to be a reasonable age...

They never gave out "pocket money" in my home. You probaby want to start earning as soon as you have need for more money. I don't know your age . .you don't say .. but babysitters make good money these days. If you are 16 or older you can begin working at most any retail store. But, in general , I would stop asking for money from my parents when you begin to realize that you are too old to be asking for it in the first place. Since you are asking this question , it sounds like maybe you do feel that it is time to earn some money on your own. Good luck ! :)

When one feels mature enough to face that new challenge. And parents have done so much for us all life, so why not give them a break?
If you are in India, though, u'd probably start earning only after you graduate from college and get a job.
But if you are abroad, 18 is a good age where you'd be able to handle your studies and job together.
But don't forget that education/career is more important than anything else if you want a good life.

Depends on how much your parents can give. Parents should give children the opportunity to earn an "allowance" by working around the house. But kids can get a summer job when they are in high school and should learn how to budget that to last all year long.

There are babies a couple of months old who earn by way of modeling for baby food, nappy advertisements/film roles etc. Sports persons earn good money at very tender ages. This means that there is no fixed age to start earning. Having said that, legally one cannot be employed till s/he is 18 years old.

That depends on your career planning. As soon as you start earning, either by giving tutions , working part time or doing full-time,you should stop taking the pocket money from your parents.
