No true man of God would suggest such as this.
Tithing is something instructed from the scriptures and we must remember that God already knows the needs full realm in your life before even you......the same way you trust Him with each moment of your life - you can trust Him with your finances....it is a simple act of obedience. Faith walk.
In regard to this man .... you should meet with some other leaders of that church and share your concerns, prayerfully seeking the Lords' leading.
Talk with your wife about your concerns and seek further help from the Word itself and prayers.
Man can fail you but God will remain TRUE.

Yeah sure why not while your at it put a little bow on her. Look at your question. He hugs her after each sermon sure it could be friendly but as hes suggesting he spends the night at his house jsut your not making a donation which is optional might i add i think he could have something else on his mind other the the genesis.

Go for it bubba! It might not get you into heaven but maybee your Pastor and wife can be in heaven ...for one night. Tithing is a rip off, it has already been taken over by the government...it's called income tax now.
Pay your taxes, drop your wife off and keep driving... to the nearest psychiatric facility bubba. Psychiatrists are a lot more entertaining than pastors and they lay the guilt on everyone else, not on you.

Was this before or after you "confronted her (your wife) in the nude for taking the lords name in vain"?
You are one of three things;
1) A sick twisted individual who personifies all that is wrong with Christians
2) A sick twisted joker
3) A sick twisted spouse abuser
Get a life and some therapy.

get the hell out of that church....how can you stand that inmoral attitute specially coming from the pastor.....he is not a pastor, he is an inmoral guy that pretends to serve God, and by no means he is representing him in a good way....find the true organization that God approves...good luck....try Jehovah's Witness, I think they have the true religion because of their teachings....bye

You must be joking or something. Man of God indeed. You are on your way to losing your wife, if you haven't already done so!

NO WAY! The little perve. That is your wife. I don't know what religion, I assume Catholic. One of the TEN commandments he is breaking...THou shall not Covet they naighbor's wife. Meaning he shouldn't want her, or even think of her that way. Something is clearly wrong if he is asking you this. It's sac-religious.
