I'm looking forward to popping open a cold one and catching up with the cats.....

Any afterlife with cats is heaven for me! Preferably they would talk and walk on two legs and since they're short, I could put sombreros full of nachos and dip on their heads! :) Oooh and they would be dressed in period outifts!! Samurai tabbies on the left and Elizabethan calicos on the right.

I don't believe in an afterlife, so I have to say that it's not something I give any consideration to. I concern myself with taking care of my family; doing what I can to insure that the world my grandchildren and their children inherit will be livable; being a good citizen of my nation and community, a good friend and good son; and trying to make the most of the precious, limited allotment of time I have on this Earth.

Based on the statement you made, I should assume that you have no real interest in the afterlife. If you are going to heaven then it will be more than just drinking beer. God being who He is has a lot planned for us. Punishment=fire and brimstone.

I'm doomed to hell, according to Christians, so I think that this is my destiny:
"And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire." Revelation 20:15
Such a merciful God...
I'm also doomed to hell according to Muslims, therefore:
"But as for those who disbelieve, garments of fire will be cut out for them; boiling fluid will be poured down on their heads. Whereby that which is in their bellies, and their skins too, will be melted; And for them are hooked rods of iron. Whenever, in their anguish, they would go forth from thence they are driven back therein and (it is said unto them): Taste the doom of burning" (Surah 22:19-22, emp. added; cf. 6:70; 10:5; 37:67; 44:48; 56:54,93)
Another merciful God...
Things are not looking great for me in the afterlife. If I believed in religion I might be scared.

I can only hope for an Operating System that will not crash daily. If that is not possible even with divine help, I guess i could settle for a virgin or two....

I'm neither here nor there. I'm not so sure if i'll be rewarded or punished. Not the worst, but not the best. Scary really.

Heaven and Hell n.11. The Lord teaches that those that are in heaven and in the church are in the Lord and the Lord is in them, when He says:

Abide in Me and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself except it abide in the vine, so neither can ye, except ye abide in Me. I am the Vine, ye are the branches. He that abideth in Me and I in him, the same beareth much fruit; for apart from Me ye can do nothing (John 15:4, 5).
