No, I totally understand dude. It's weird I know, and it makes you feel creeped out. Same thing kinda happened to me with our cat. My wife gets frisky and the cat's right there looking at me like, "Ball's in your court, champ." At first I wouldn't do anything, with the same reasoning as you. Then my instincts overrode my objections and I would physically remove the cat from the room. Then later I've noticed that when my wife and I are "in the mood" the cat hightails it to the other room. So, I say, you get up and move the dog to another room. If she objects, just tell her that you're not comfortable with the dog in the room. The dog probably really doesn't want to be in there either. Think of it in their eyes..."Oh gross, what are those two hairless apes doing? Whoa...he's looking at her while he does it? Disgusting." Heh...the dog will probably leave on their own.

Maybe she thought that you were making excuses about not wanting to. Also, that would be a mood killer for me because she would have to stop what she's doing and take the dog to another room. If I were you, I wouldn't worry about the dog, BUT if it bothers you, she should do what needs to be done.

wow, i cant do it with a dog in the room either. i have this dog, emma, shes a bichon frise and one of the charactoristics of her breed is that she stands on her back legs and begs with her paws ALL THE TIME. so my boyfriend and i were doing a little foreplay... i looked over to see the dog staring crazy at us all begging and stuff. it was annoying, and a total turn off. always make sure the dogs out of the room.

It is freaky if a dog stares at you when your having sex, but if are just in the same room I don't see a problem.
Sounds like you are both to blame for this one.

if you are uncomfortable then she should accomodate you. Since she probably will NOT be uncomfortable if the dog is out of the room, unless she actually prefers the dog to watch then you have a whole other issue on your hands.

Its ok if u dont want to have sex in front of the dog. If she gets mad, too bad for her but dont let her do what she wants. dont let her act like a brat.

NO IT ISNT SOME PEOPLE HAVE A PROBLEY WITH A ANIMAL IN THE ROOM (LIKE YOU) AND SOME DONT(LIKE HER) BUT IF SHE REALLY CARED ABOUT YOU SHE WOULD ACCEPT THE FACT YOU WERE UNCOMFORTABLE. BUT BECAUSE YOU WERE SO UNCOMFORTABLE WITH THE DOG IT PUT HER OUT OF THE MOOD FOR THE SIMPLE FACT IT IS LIKE YOU WERE PAYING MORE ATTENTION TO THE DOG OVER IN THE CORNER THAN THE ONE BEING INTIMATE WITH YOU. THAT IS WHY SHE IS UPSET. SO NO IT WASNT STUPID ON HER PART

If you know you don't like the dog around, while having sex, when kissing and touching her say "honey lets get between the sheets" or say "lets do it somewhere new"......just to get rid of the dog ....it's simple....that all

Believe me,that was a perfectly good reason.
We wouldnt want dogs learning all our 100+ positions, now would we?Even though we got the 'doggy' from them, lol.OK seriously,i dont think you over-reacted in any way.

When my girlfriend and I have sex, her dog will jump on the bed and start licking my face. It really reduces the blood flow down below.
