Sounds like you might be experienceing some hypertrophic scarring (NOT KELOIDING, which is what most people usually say and keloids are in reality rare). What kind of jewelry are you wearing? What material is it made out of? If it's cheap jewelry, you could be allergic, or it could be poorly made, causing small pieces of metal to catch on and irritate your tissue. I would a) purchase *high quality* jewelry in a ring or nostril screw and b) do sea salt soaks twice per day, making sure to rinse afterward. Most of all, don't touch it with your fingers unless you have just washed them, and don't put makeup on the area. Another great resource is www.bmezine.com.

DO NOT USE ALCOHOL - it will only dry out and irritate your piercing. Antibiotic ointment is okay *IF* and only if you wipe it off and rinse with a sea salt soak approx. 1 hour after application. Don't leave it on - it will clog your piercing and leave it unable to drain, causing swelling.

I'd say you have an infection. Take the nose ring out and clean around it very well, apply some alcohol, and don't put the nose ring back in. Ever. It makes you look like a savage.

i had an eyebrow piercing. it has been over 3 month but the wound had not 100% heal. i never take it off, and i hav no infection. i treat it with some salt. u dissolve some salt in hot water (thicker is better) then u apply to the wound.

I think you should ask a doctor really. It's most probably an infection, but it may be anything. Its weird that it doesn't hurt

Because you put a hole in your boogar catcher and it doesn't like it. You can take it out and use some antibiotic ointment after cleaning with alcohol 3 or 4 times a day.
