My boyfriend has a daughter by some other chick before me, and up until recently he was skeptical about me being around with his daughter around. So I spent the day with him and his daughter, bought her a gift and everything, and everything was going great. But towards the end of the day he started acting funny...he wouldn't even hug me or kiss me goodbye because of a simple joke that he laughed at with me about his shirt being too small and he hasn't called me in two days....should I be worried?

He hates the mother of the child because she left him for a guy with more money then him and he was even maiking jokes himself about the shirt...actually he started it.

No,give him time alone with his daughter and don't worry.It's not easy to accept moving on with a part of your pass(his daughter) and his future(meaning you) but it will get easier for him as time goes by,just keep being supportive.

You should apologize. But somehow I do not think that he is upset about a joke about his shirt being too small. You need to talk to him and find out what is going on and next time maybe you should be more tasteful about the jokes you tell.

Although he initially laughed, (which sometimes happens), what you said hurt his feelings. It probably made him self-conscious for the rest of the time and he really couldn't enjoy himself. I would call and apologize and make sure that if it happens again, (unexpectedly), that instead of him ignoring you, he should talk with you about it, so that it can be resolved.

Looks like this guy has some other things going on., I wouldnt worry about him, Find yourself someone that is sincere about you and not worrying over things like his shirt being small.
To continue with him might bring you some hurt. dont worry , walk away and find agreat guy.

daughters and dads are an odd combo, since they are the babygirl, they are the dominating female presence in his life and he'd never hurt her for any reason, even for you.
Time to step up to him and drag it out of him, be aware it may be something u don't want to hear but this hurdle must be overcome b4 ur relationship can be complete.

Try calling him, but only once and leave a message. If he replys then ask him whats going on, and if he dosen't then forget about him.

I think that he's being immature, anyway you don't need his baggage..Give him some time, but wait for him to call you first. Obviously you didn't do anything to him..
