yum!! It's rare that I can I resist. Margarine and marmite is my usual topping or if I'm feeling like I really need comfort food then it has to be butter and crunchy peanut butter so it is lovely and oozey! Very important that the toast is not overdone tho' the smell of burnt toast is just horrible!!!

I love toast. The best thing in the world is a hot cup tea and honey on buttered toast first thing in the morning.

No I can't resist and I am a bad boy coz I put ladles of butter on it. If I have some home made raspberry jam then a thick layer of that can be applied also. With a hot cup of tea too...mmmmmm

I can resist toast, but if I have toast it has to be jam or marmite and thick sliced bread

Irresistible.
Sardines - with a drop or two of malt vinegar and ground black pepper. Problem I have, though, is that toast so often gives me hiccoughs.
Thinly sliced cheddar cheese and a thick layer of blackcurrant jam is good too.
