why would I listen to her?

Need more info.
Why would she say that? Probably you are in a dead end job.
You need to do better than what you do because you are way too qualified. She loves you and concerned for where you are heading.

Ask her. Why, what and if anything that make her say that. Think about what she says carefully. May be she has a point.

You don't have to reject it outright. Obviously, only the ones that care for you say things like that.

Loved ones are cruel to be kind. My Q. to you... What do YOU think? Are you in any of the things that she is concerned about? Deep down if you think you should better yourself in your career, you should listen. Without information, I cannot answer your question completely.

Your sister is not your mother or has to take care of all of the things you do: meals, food, utilities, shelter, entertainment, cell phone, clothes, all phases of auto, medical, personal toiletries, & monthly bills. If your sister can pay for all of that for you forever then yes, quit your job and listen to her! Tell her to do her job and stay out of your business.

If she was going to pay my bills and give me spending then by all means I would have her sign a contract stating just that and then I would quit.

I don't have a sister so I would tell the person nicely that they have no business in my life.

It would help to know what you do for a living? Is this per chance why she is telling you to quit?

It depends on the job you have and the reasons she gives you. If everything is "kosher", then ignore her.
