I've read the whole thing a couple of times as well. I went to a private Christian school from K5- 12th grade...

Revalation is the best chapter I think.

Don't be mad at people, everyone interprets things differently.

I have read the Bible a few times. Re-reading it again 1) because I can and 2) we recently started going back to church (had some serious health issues where I was in the hospital for over a month and a half)

I've read more than 5 pages in the Bible. From your response on the question "Either Jesus is God or was human, not both?" - reading it and believing it are two different things. If you don't believe it - it won't do you any good. Take Jesus for instance - He proves He is God by His actions and words and by fulfilled prophecy...but if you don't believe it, how do you expect to benefit from it? It only takes a mustard seed of faith, a humble, repentant heart, and God will take care of the details. God justifies by faith. Read Romans 10 (one of my favorite chapters) and place an ounce of your trust in God's promises. You won't be disappointed. PS - keep reading. I have a feeling I will never ever understand it fully even if I read it 200 times...

Interesting point. I am not a christian, but still read the bible. Took me about 2 months. And after reading it I wonder how did christians come to the conclusions they have? Then it hits me, it was not taught by GOD, but by men. And when I come accross those of the christian faith, it is very rare that one has read the bible. It is mostly those of the older generations that have.

I've read the bible through once for sure(front to back) and read it daily, even several times a day....without the Holy Spirit to aid you you may not be getting the full understanding of the scriptures.

Thats the problem HOMEBOY. People read 900 books ABOUT
the Bible. And listen to 100 shows where people TELL them
about the Bible. But they don't read the Bible.

I've read it through I think a couple of times. I don't read it but study it, so some parts I've read maybe 50 times.
