Oh, hahaha, aren't you the clever one? And, ooooh, I'm so scared, I think I'll give up my atheist ways and become just like you.

No, actually the tradition of April Fools day goes back to the Start of the Julian Calendar. When the Calendar was adopted the beginning of the Yearly cycle was reset from the original day the locals had celebrated it which was April First. To those who forgot and contiued to celebrate New Years on April first it was thought great fun to chastize them and play pranks on the "April Fools" who still celebrated the old holiday.
Your little attempt at cleverness not withstanding, it was actually CHRISTIANS who brought this day about and celebrated by teasing others.

Christmas and Easter were originally celebrated as pagan holidays to celebrate the Spring & Winter Solstice LONG before Christianity ever existed. It was the Christians who decided to make up a story about Jesus that just "happened to coincide" with the established Pagan holidays. This made it easier for the Christian armies to forcefully convert the "heathens" to their faith (see "The Crusades" and "Spanish Inquisition"), and those two holidays have been that way ever since.
The Fourth of July exists to celebrate our independence, but the phrase "In God We Trust" wasn't established until 1956 when the Cold War made everyone paranoid and the Christian Right Wing stepped in to "protect" the country.
Why does the Pledge of Allegiance include the phrase, "One nation, under God" if we are supposed to be tolerant and accepting of ALL religions? Perhaps it's just another way for Christianity to force its way onto people.
I'd rather have a holiday celebrating human foibles than ten more to hide two millenia of murder, torture, lies and brainwashing.

Actually it seems to be making fun of christianity as Jesus was sent back and forth right before his crucifiction. Joke's on you, I guess.
April Fool's Day or All Fools' Day, though not a holiday in its own right, is a notable day celebrated in many countries on April 1. The day is marked by the commission of hoaxes and other practical jokes of varying sophistication on friends and neighbours, or sending them on fools' errands, the aim of which is to embarrass the gullible. In some countries, April Fool's jokes (also called "April fools") are only made before midday. [1]
Origin
The origin of this custom has been much disputed, and many theories have been suggested, e.g. that it is a farcical commemoration of Christ being sent from Ananus to Caiaphas, from Caiaphas to Pilate, from Pilate to Herod, and from Herod back again to Pilate, the crucifixion having taken place about the 1st of April.
What seems certain is that it is in some way or other a relic of those once universal festivities held at the vernal equinox, which, beginning on old New Year's day, the 25th of March, ended on the 1st of April.

No, it's not true. It's not a Christian holiday but that doesn't mean it is a atheist holiday. Very funny that you should mention that Psalm because it's the Psalm where God insults not only atheists but every other religion that doesn't believe in him. So only Christians and Jewish people do good. Is that what you believe?

If that is so, then people such as Jan Crouch, Don Stewart, Joyce Meyer, Robert Tilton and Rod Paisley (among others) must all have the same birthday since they do such FOOLish things by FOOLing people into into making them multi-millionaires!

Coarce not. There's presidents day, St. Patricks day, National liberalist day, even flag day--those are all atheist or more correctly non- faschist.
But St. Patrics day is the best though, and that serves no god deity or higher power---it's just an excuse for people to JUSTIFY hitting the boose.

And what exactly is a christian holiday? Last time I checked they were actually pagan holidays so really you dont have any either!
Christmas is actually pagan. Its called Yule or the winter solstice time of death and rebirth of the Sun God.
Easter is actually pagan. Its the spring equinox around the end of march time.
