I don't know. A friend of mine suggested in jest that Mohammed's picture be put on the dinar (or was it dirham) notes and Muslims almost killed him. Apparently that same "graven image" problem was behind the Danish cartoon brouhaha.
How would you picture Jesus? He certainly wasn't blond and blue-eyed. Perhaps he was black. Or maybe he was a she.

Because I am not religious, I'd have to say no.
It'd cause alot of fighting because there are nonreligious people, like myself, and it wouldn't be fair for us to have to use something everyday to survive that had a symbol on it that we didn't believe in.
