I have a question for muslims?

Question

what inspires you muslims about mohomed, when he did these things during his life,
married a 9 year old girl
killed lots of people, including jews and anyone who disagreed wih him
had up to 15, to 23 wives and concubines
used allah's name for his evil needs
lied many times
listened to satan and was inspired by the satanic verses
believed in superstition
and the list goes on and on and muslims cant deny that i am lying because its all in the koran

while i have nothing against decent muslims , how can you be inspired by such a prophet?

of course muslims deny everything what their prophet did

chanian, jesus and buddha never killed or raped, nor did they have 15 wives each. yes followers of christianity did the killing and not jesus

Oh dear.

Mohommed was attacked and defended himself in war. When he won that war, he pardoned the other side. His first and most important marriage was to a woman many years older than himself. Mostly for poltical reasons--and sometimes to provide aid--he later married other wives. He had no more than six, which is the maximum under Islamic law. He had no concubines. He preached against superstition his entire adult life.

For that matter, Mohommed during his life was renowned for his honesty and humility.

"The Satantic Verses" btw is a novel written by an Indian over a thousand years after Mohommed's death.

I am not a Muslim.

But, how can you talk proudly of heroes like Richard the Lionhearted, who beheaded 3,000 of Saladin's soldiers at Jaffa? The Crusades, who killed thousands and thousands across Europe and the Mid-east, who killed everyone-Jew, Muslim, and Christian-in Jerusalem when they took the city? (Saladin killed no one when he recaptured the city). The Inquisition, that killed and tortured thousands? This is not killing all who disagreed with the Christians? I think it is. And the list goes on and on.

Mohammad married Aisha when she was young to combine the families, but, did not consummate the marriage till she was older. Then, everyone married young, as they died young. It was a different time and different customs. You cannot equate it with our world today. His other wives were widows, who had no sons to care for them, and were considered outcasts. He showed that they were worthy to be a wives again.

And, King Soloman had 700 wives and Concubines. Did you forget this? King David had many, too.

Satan? Doesn't Satan (in Christian beliefs) tempt everyone? Your comments here are malarkey.

And, have you even read the Quar'an? I think not. You just read what the Christians and the news media want you to read and hear. And, they go for sensationalism.

Islam makes alot more sense than Christianity. G-d is G-d. G-d is One, not three. He is, and was and shall forever be, even with bigots like you around.

guess this is a question within a answer but to all that have answered this question defending Mohamed.how the3 hell do you know these things.they are things that supposedly happened thousands of years ago .please show me proof.not one single person on this earth can prove god or Mohamed exist its all down to beliefs and things you are taught by your parents weather your Muslim christian ,Jew Rastafarian or Buddhist .you have no proof [IE Muslims] if Allah was so great and compassionate why the tsunami a while back wasn't it Muslims mainly that died.i for one if i was god would not kill the very people that worship me.Jews [Little thing called the holocaust] same thing why would your god allow this.I'm sorry if this offends but religion is for the scared and week clinging on to hope that there's something better there ain't you re born you live you die.end of the story get over it..

1) A lot inspires us about our Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). He is the most greatest and perfect man ever created! His life serves as a example and guide. Peace Be Upon Him.

2) Yes, he married a 9 year old but for very great reasons:
-to strengthen his relationship with his best friend (whose daughter she was)
-she is the one who reported many hadeeth (sayings of prophet muhammad pbuh) due to her intelligence
-to increase her knowledge. she is the most knowledgeable woman in islam
-to guide her in the way of islam and much more
+ i have a question too (why is prophet muhammad pbuh picked every time on this issue when there are millions of people of other faith whether priests, pious, etc. who marry young girls?)

3) Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) did not kill unless on the battle field to defend muslims, himself and islam. these are false allegations against him.

4) He was monogomous in his relationship for 25 years and then after his first wife died he married other women to protect them (widows, prisoners, etc) and he treated every single one of them equal without a doubt.

5) He did not use Allah's name for evil deeds but spreaded Allah (SWT)'s Words to everyone. He was a Prophet of Allah.

6) Ever since he was a child, he never lied. He was pure of these negative characteristics.

7) He never befriended satan instead he warned others of satan's evil whispers and doings.

8) He was not superstitious. He told the truth.

and none of this is in the Qur'an. I would suggest you to read the qur'an and provide reference.

Seek the truth, God-Willing, you'll find it.

You have to look at the positive side of people, rather than the negative side. After all the Prophet was a human. He (peace be upon him) had up to 15 and 23 wives to spread the religion.

He "killed lots of people" because those people (the disbelievers) insulted the religion. The prophet was only defending the religion. I know most people have asked, but please give us your sources, i mean specifically. Where in the Qur'an does it say he (peace be upon him) lied many times and listened to the satan was inspired by satanic verses and believed in superstion?

In Islam, all propets are assured a place in Heaven. All prophets. The prophet was extremely patient, altruistic, full of piety and was humble. He (peace be upon him) was very, very generous and only said good things about people. He also had really good etiquettes of daily living.

Like I said he was only human, like every one of us: "Say (O Muhammad): I am only human like you: it is revealed to me that your God is One God: So, let him who hopes for the meeting of his Lord, do righteousness, and do not associate anything in the worship of his Lord". (Qur'an, 18:111)

Also he (peace be upon him) said: "Do not exaggerate in my praise as the Christians did to the son of Mary. I am Allah's slave, so say, Allah's slave an His Messanger." (Bukahri and Muslim).

"Whosoever obeys the Messenger, indeed he obeys Allah". [Qur'an 4:80]. And God said (to the Prophet): "We have sent thee Inspiration, as We sent it to Noah and the Messengers after him: We sent inspiration to Abraham, Ismail, Isaac, Jacob and the Tribes, to Jesus, Job, Jonah, Abraham, and Solomon, and to David We gave the Psalms."

Please do understand that the Prophet is great example for all to follow; in "THE 100" by Micheal H. Hart, he lists the 100 most influential people in history and ranks the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) first. God be with you.

Islam belongs to the 3 Abrahamic religions of Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Those 3 religions are full of violence, hatred, blood-letting and pains.Their common God is ruthless, vindictive and racial. He hates blacks with passion and cursed them to be slaves.
