~Sigh~. I am doing the same thing. I am thin, but still want to lose about ten pounds. I find myself constantly thinking about what I am going to eat next and how many carbs or how much fat is in it, or if it has enough protein. So...here is what I eat. 1/2 cup of Quaker Weight Control Oatmeal for breakfast with a bottle of water. Tuna for lunch with a Tab Energy Drink. 90 calorie granola bar for snack with another bottle of water mid afternoon. Dinner varies, but it is usually a high protein low carb something. It kills me how people think just bc you are already thin and you still don't eat a lot you "must have an eating disorder". It is about being healthy. More than half of America gorges on fast food everyday, and it makes me sick just thinking of all the unhealthy crap they are putting in their bodies. I eat to live, not live to eat. Good luck to you~

There are a ton of healthy snacks you can eat that taste good and won't ruin your diet. The problem is most people aren't going to like the answer becuase it entails some work -- that is, planning.
Pack snacks ahead of time in the future, but for now -- first, are you really hungry? If you had a good breakfast:
1 - drink a glass of water. If lunchtime is close, this might help tide you over.
2 - if you want something sweet, go for a diet soda (again, if you shouldn't really be hungry but feel like it)
3 - boullion soup is tasty (and salty, again).
If you truly need food --
4 - if your option is a vending machine at work, try finding regular pretzels. they're usually a best bet.
5 - veggies with a seasoned salt, lemon pepper or something like that are good and tasty, plus healthy. I obviously dont' worry about sodium.
6 - low cal hot chocolate
7 - an ounce of nuts (good for you and very filling, but only eat the ounce).
8 - fruit, particularly bananas, also work for me
9 - frosted mini wheats (without milk)
There are a ton of other good healthy lite snacks, but we only have so much time before a milky way or snickers catches your eye.... good luck.

It is a struggle to lose weight. I am in the process of trying myself. I have found that you can diet and not starve yourself. The great thing is that you can eat fruits and vegetables that are healthy and filling to you. The Del Monte/Dole fruit cups are like 60 calories or less and come in it's own or light syrup. You can also try Jell-O which has about 10 calories in it. It's not about starving yourself but watching what you eat. Don't think a snack has to be something sweet. Try a small salad with tuna/chicken/fish and/or fruit. Stay away from a lot of canned foods. Try fresh or frozen vegetables. I know this is more information than you requested however, I am with you in this weight loss struggle. I am not sure how much you have to lose, but I wish you luck and much success.

If your starving than your diet is failing. Granola bars are a great snack. They go from about 70 calories-150. Fruits and Vegitables. Pickles are a great snack. Most pickle brands calories are less than 30 calories due to the water ratio. Rice Cakes, you can get all sorts of flavors. Air popped pop corn. But you need to learn that you have to eat smart and exercise daily in order to live a healthy lifestyle. Dieting by food rations is a bad way, and can lead to some real health issues.

If you're already thin, why are you dieting? If you have no fat, you'll lose muscle and that can be really dangerous. Also, if you start eating normally again, your body will react like it's been in a famine and start laying down fat from every calorie it can. That's why people who yoyo diet often put on more weight than they've lost when they come off a diet.
If you want to stay thin, eat normally but take a reasonable amount of exercise instead.

That is not a good diet. A diet should not leave you feeling hungry. Eat a snack. I'm not sure what "tastes good" to you, but try some fruit or raw vegetables.

Depends on what diet you're on. Without knowing that, there is no way to know what to suggest. For instance, if you're on the low carb diet, I would suggest a low-carb snack like an Atkins bar or if you want something salty, some olives can satisfy a snack attack and will keep you within your low carb diet.

A diet works when you are consistent.. so if one day you eat a donut its going to be stored in your body since your body goes into reserve mode when u don't take enough calories.
For an adult women i.e above 18yrs. 1800 calories are must.
ona daily basis. don't starve yourself.
Develop healthy eating habits, Decrease, sugars, sodas, beers, wine, starchy food and refines flours in your diet .
Eat whole grains and food and fruits and veggies and nuts like almonds..
Eat proper meal.. Breakfast is a must.. drink a glass of hot low fat milk after B'fast.. or when you feel hungry.. it fills u up like nothing else.
Go for fresh fruits and nuts.. watermelon is an excellent example of fruit that fills u up and has very little calories...
go for it..
if you want to skip meals..skip dinner.. eat a bowl of cereal for dinner..with low fat milk..
good luck

You are setting yourself up for failure. You can lose weight without starving. Go see a dietician for some good pointers. In the meantime go eat some vegetables or fruit and drink plenty of lemon water.

No need to diet..just eat healthy and exercise. Good snacks include fruit, whole wheat crackers with light cheese, natural granola bars, anything healthy really.
