You haven't walked down the aisle until you've walked down the aisle. So, yes - it's sin.

WAIT - you won't regret it!!! You're wedding night will be so spectacular if you do.

Do whatever it takes, - go out in groups only, avoid alone time, whatever. You won't regret it.

First of all, it's ABSTAINING, not substaining. Second of all, according to the Catholic religion premarital sex is a sin, even if you're engaged. In my opinion, that's not God's law, it's man's law.
(men who, BTW, thought it was OK to molest little boys and young men, and, if they didn't do it themselves, thought it was OK to "look the other way" while it was happening) Make your own decision. As long as YOUR conscience is clear, it's your business.

Yes, premarital sex is wrong.

The best thing to do to avoid it, is to avoid being alone and/or doing things that would arouse passion.

Long engagements actually put an unnecessary strain on couples in this area. Getting to know the person in a group situation before you get engaged would make long engagements unnecessary.

i would wait. even though sex is so tempting. wait....... beleive me it will be sooo much better. besides, the fact that you even made the effort to ask that tells me that you are pretty spiritual and that you were raised well.. not trying to make sex seem dirty or anything. Plus, anything could happen between now and marrage.. id stay on the safe side. dont waste such a precious thing and risk losing something so important, in so many ways. religion being one.congrats for waiting this long.

I think that you should first be applauded for your stance and i wish more young people had the will power to do this.

My advice to you would be to look into different types of intamacy with your SO, there are many different ways to have a sexual relationship without the sex.
I would tell my kids that you should never compromise your beliefs so if you think you will not be able to deal with the consequences than its better to just wait. Just remeber you will have to live with the decisions you make.
I wish you luck.

Okay. Here's the thing. Even Christian's aren't perfect. God knows this and he will forgive you. I think you should pray for strength but if you falter just ask for forgiveness and God will still bless your marriage. If you are a Christian then you have a very forgiving and understanding God. Good luck in all do and best wishes.

I thes 4:3

premarital sex is against Gods plan. but it is for the covenant reason not because Jesus just doesn't like sex. You should know that God means for you to have all the kinds of sex that you want and lots of it (after you are married). (Covenant law research blood covenant and the breaking of the hymen)

I do not believe in premarital sex therefore I do not believe in long engagements.

Restrain yourself, and you will feel better about yourself after your wedding. And besides, God Will Bless You Like You Have Never Been Blessed Before.

Yes it is a sin, if you have sex outside of marriage is considered Fornication, and know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the Kingdom of God,neither Fornicator,or adulterer....
