and i already was out of work because of scaitica,this happened on aug. 20 i was supposed to return to work aug. 25,but because of my fall i am out until oct.2. i live in n.c.,i can't find a lawyer to help me. the fall has made my problem worse.

In short, your claim against Walmart would be one of negligence. If the grape caused your fall and Walmart was aware the grape(s) was there and didn't clean it up, or they routinely maintained an unfit produce department you might have a case. Walmart has a duty to maintain a safe environment for their customers. If they breached that duty and that breach was the cause of your injuries (damages) then they could be liable. You would be entitled to repayment of your medical expenses, lost wages and pain and suffering. Slip and fall cases are hard cases to prove. If you can't find a lawyer to take your case it is probably a good indication you don't have a good one.

No Lawyer will want to touch this case. Walmart is too big and powerful to be bothered with a lawsuit like this. If a giant pile of dogfood had fallen on you, you might have had a case.

you should watch were you walk .walmart is a good place to shop you no that or you would not have been shopping there the day YOU steped on a grape .everyone is looking to get the big guy .i hope you heal and get your but back to work not working is the worst thing for someone looking to sue folks
