In Genesis, it first says God created man - male and female. Then it talks about Adam and Eve. I think the point of the story is how God gives man everything, including life itself, but man wants more.
It is a recent development of man's thoughts and understanding of the universe that makes the creation/evolution issue a problem for some. The creation of the universe is not necessarily the intended message in Genesis.

Adam and Eve is just a story that got out of hand..people then didn't know about the big bang theory nor can they explain how evolutions works..as our civilization advance into the future, we learn more of how we came to be..unfortunately religion is hindering those progress by claiming things such as Adam and Eve is the father and mother (whatever) of all humans

Adam and Eve story comes from the bible and don`t tell me you believe the bible`s been faxed from heaven cos that`s a big fat lie. Man created the bible , their purpose was to create a religion strong to hold everyone but damn they put so much magic and miracles they make it unbelievable.A healthy mind can understand this and science man are the healthy minds.Caveman(the first of men) are the first that walked on earth meanwhile no Adam or eve was around.

I just can't get my head round people believing in Adam and Eves creation. I mean I just cannot believe a man of great being came along and created our world then a man and a woman to boot!
I know everyone believes different theories as to how the world began, but I believe the scientific explanation. There is evidence for these theories, fossils etc.

The majority of animals were lost during the flood of Noah's day.
Since most species of animals are extinct. Perhaps this animal resembled a human. Many large apes do. Those white ones I saw on a special certainly did. How do they know they carried a club. That is pure speculation. All they have is decayed bones.

Did God not kill a animal and make them cloths>>>where do you think they came from, from the beginning, when they were run out of the garden, to fend for themselves. they knew nothing, they had to learn everything, how to hunt for food, find a place to dwell.(cave) it would keep them dry, and protect them from wild animals. Adam-Eve were the cave men, that's where they came from......

This is easy. Adam and Eve did NOT exist. Cave men evolved from the monkeys.
