The internet has become a source of Invisible CONFIDENCE, allowing normally shy strange and bizarre people to come out of their shell and express their inner self. Alot of people obviously have a "fake" personna when they are on online chats or post their messages and personal ads. They all try to please and attract others - "their victims". I agree, there are some strange SICKOS out there, and I cant belive that people fall for this stuff, unless they too have an inner inkling to try something perverted and twisted on for size.

I think alot of people who end up meeting someone they met online, in person, for sex - is just not all there mentally, and has obviously not worked out the entire consequences in his/her hed. My advice, stay clear of these sites and chat rooms. If you need use an online source, try one that has a reputation, like Eharmony. You might pay more but the chance of a pervert are more slim.

I got a message on myspace one day from this woman saying, "what's up? You seem pretty neato." I wrote back. We couldn't stop writing each other messages. I thought the whole internet relationship thing was gay until I met her. She only lives 20 mins away from me. I asked her if she wanted to kick it sometime. She said yeah, and now it's been awhile and we started dating and now we are about to be engaged. I thought I'd never meet my wife off of myspace in a million years. Go figure. You never ever know...life IS really like a box of chocolates....

I agree with you. I don't think people should be doing those stupid stuff. There are a lot of perverts on the internet and if one is not smart enough to filter them out then there is normally something terrible that follows after they have met up with them. Some of them even target unsuspecting kids.

I supposed there are people that monitor certain chatrooms to ensure that children are not caught in this web of deception. Children are very vulnerable but we all need to be careful nonetheless.

It's creepy and the person who offers that must be so pathetic and a total loser.
But! People can meet online, chat for a while and then decide to meet at a public place and start dating. You gotto be so lucky though cuz that requires a lot of courage. I'd never do it.
Did you see "must love dogs"?

Yah, I think it is nasty, but it happens all the time, not just on the internet (Hello, one night stands with someone in a bar, etc...)

It's nasty, but it happens every day. I would never do that, but I have more respect for myself than some people do.
