you may have over extended the muscles or tendons-

It could be bad circulation. Or a pinched nerve which the problem is really coming from somewhere else but is reflected there.
Try stretching; touch your toes, stretch your back, your arms. that releases pressure. Also after stretching sit down NO slouching and leave your legs up high for 15 min then down 5 min then back up 15. This should do the job if not see a doctor right away.

could be shin splints. Use heat as long as it's 72 hours after the injury, and let it rest. Runners tend to get that alot. It's when the muscle in the front of your leg is over stretched or exhausted...
