Tough question!
When I met my guy, he had no money. We stuck it out and are very happy together now. I think it just depends on what you want out of the relationship. Money isn't everything, and you can still have fun together without spending money. Plan dates at the park, go for walks, etc.

Does he have a job? If not is he looking? If not, then leave him alone. Being sweet doesn't pay the bills. But if you're serious about being with him, shoot str8 from the hip and tell him for you to have a future together that he must be employed, work to get his credit cleaned and help him to do this if he is totally clueless. Some people just need a push in the right direction. He may not have a clue what his credit looks like or how to fix it. Stop spoiling him by paying for stuff and help him figure out a budget. He's young so he needs a little guidance. If you love him like you say you do, these things shouldn't be a problem. Give him 6 months to improve his lot in life and if he doesn't try without your help then you'll know it's time to move on.

You do not say how long you have been together. When I first met my husband he was a typical guy. Had very little furniture, never bought groceries, had a DUI but had a good job. At first, we dated for fun but when the relationship turned serious 10 months later I looked at his potential and his eagerness to make a better life. Some guys grow up and some do not. Only you know his potential at this point.

I would look for progress, not perfection. If he isn't making progress toward resolving these problems then you are probably wasting your time. You don't say how old you are but do you really want to waste the best years of your life with someone that cannot be their for you in every way? What if you get pregnant, can he be there for you emotionally and financially? Also, based on your other questions and answers it doesn't sound like he is the best boyfriend.

Hell no I wouldn't stick with someone like that. He'd be lucky if I honked and waved as I drove by his walking ***. Pay for **** when I was with him lol I don't even think so!

It's time to give him the ultimatum; clean up his act, or you're gone. If he says he will try, give him a chance..if he blows it, it's time to leave.
