I live in Taiwan,and I'm learning the Shotokan Karate. A Canadian came to my dojo recently. I only know the Chinese proper noun of the Shotokan,so there were many troubles when we tried to explain the actions,forms,and styles. Anyone can help me? Thanks.

Wikipedia may help you with that, they have several translations for the specifics you're looking for, you probly could look them up japanese then do a comparison with the french equivalent.
