If you didn't stretch, start now. Stretch as much as you can through the pain. Your legs are adding muscle and are being conditioned to the rough rigors and time frame of the game. Stretching is important before and after a practice/game. You can try taking creatine which will help to get rid of the acids from the muscles after a soccer workout. Take your vitamins. Your legs are going to be sore for about 4 days. A small workout will help to make the pain tolerable. I usually did one light set or a short run. A warm bath/sauna always works. Hope this helps. Hang in there. It only gets easier.

When muscle tissue is overused/stressed the tissues/fibers break down (proses to building stronger muscles). Muscles contract when they are damaged/stressed (causing stiffness or tightness). Water, Sport Drinks containing Potassium, Stretching, and Time would be the path that I would take. Also check your shoes. They may not be providing the support your body needs. Also take a day of rest while stretching throughout the day. If there is no improvement after a day of stretching and fluids, I then recommend seeing a physician. Actually you can schedule an appointment now and cancel later if you begin to improve. If you play on an organized team, talk to the trainer.

fill your bath tub is hot water well as hot as you can stand it.. and put some epsom salt in it.. it will soak away most of the pain for you.. keep your water as hot as you can stand it.
should make you feel better in no time at all. get you back out on the field. and exercise a little bit before you start playing.. remember the stretches you are supose to do before running

Do stretching exercises both before and after practice and games. You can also try soaking as long as possible in a bath of epsom salts with the water as hot as you can tolerate. You'd be surprised how effective it can be.

hot baths, pain killers so that the muscle ache goes away. You've probably got a major set of charlie horse type pains. They go away with time - just don't overexert.

You needa do lots of stretching on your calves hamstrings and tights. Do take in more proteins for fast recovery and finally lots of rest. Gradually as you get stronger you won't feel so much ache in yours muscles liao mate...

drink lot of water n energy drinks
take lot of salt in ur diet
replinish lost minerals n salts in ur body
u will feel better
