No if you are to be married, but if you do the act, get married then you will not have sinned. IT tells you this in the bible, read it.

If you are fantasizing about having sex with him after marrying him, that is probably not morally wrong in and of itself. However, you do need to ask yourself if it's profitable - above all, if it promotes love (in the sense that can be and is commanded of us).

If it doesn't promote love, if it's in any way viewing him as an object, etc., then it is a form of adultery and it's not OK even if you are married to the guy :> So you are very right to be asking this question. Every time you have that kind of thoughts for the rest of your life, including after the wedding.

according to the Bible, sexual immorality (which includes fondling, oral sex, masturbation, and yes, even fantasizing) is wrong; however, I am a Christian woman happily engaged to a wonderful man. We are currently abstaining from sex, but I'm sure he still thinks about it. I believe the Bible is open to interpretation. While God is strict regarding our action and faith, I believe He allowed a little wiggle room. People interpret the Bible differently and perhaps we'll never know what "sexual immorality" totally includes. Until then, we'll have to interpret it the way we see fit. If you are a true Christian and have been saved, then we will feel conviction for our sins and therefore know that they are sins. Good luck!

That's tough. Jesus says that when a man lusts after a woman he has already committed adultery in his heart. but you're going to marry this woman anyways? so it's not like you would have commited adultery against her.....
You could take that verse like this; If you fantasize about a woman, youmight as well have sex with her, because you've already sinned anyway.
but the verse seems to suggest that thinking about sex and actually doing it are pretty well the same sin. so my answer would be that it's better to wait till you're married.

It is natural for people to do that but you must not have sex before marriage. Waiting untill the wedding will bring blessings and satisfaction that are hard to imagine before the wedding. Really! Afterwards you will know. ;-)

In the Jewish tradition, an engaged couple were considered as wed so, I think you are safe. That is why Joseph would have had to divorce Mary to leave her, even though they were betrothed and not married yet.

I think technically it would be, although it's certainly preferable to fantasizing it about someone else. The main danger there is that you are making it more difficult to maintain self-control for when you're together. You're setting yourself up for failure, in a way. It's not advisable, but if you're a Christian, you're under grace and shouldn't beat yourself up too badly about that one.

It would be "wrong" if you didn't, in the sense that romantically fantasizing about the person you love is normal.

That's natural. Those instincts were given to us by our Creator. But we have the choice whether we follow His plan to our benefit or whether we follow our own plans to our detriment. Not wrong, but just be careful of what you do with it. If you linger in those thoughts for too long, it could lead to you not making it to your wedding. Congratulations, by the way!

NO!
Although ex-President Jimmy Carter mentioned "lusting in his mind" while being married to his wife, he did not equate it with actual adultery. He is a religious Christian. If it's not adultery, then it couldn't be "pre-marital sex".
