Has anyone received a good answer from one of your questions, if so, what was it and did you act on the advice?

Yeah, I was debating living or not... someone told me to end it,
so I did.
now being dead, I can type for hours without my hands getting tired.
I would recomend it for anyone.

Oh yes. We had a problem - no sound on a newly installed XP. We posted the question and within ten minutes after we'd ignored all the silly bloody answers that always come by the dozen from prats who know nothing except a greed for points (WHY?) - we got an answer telling us that we needed to download a particular file, giving us the name and the site, so we did, and magically, we had sound, despite the fact that we'd tried everything else for ages before we posted that question, so you see, sometimes people do ask questions, and more importantly, some people DO take the trouble to give good, clear and helpful answers, bless them.
Which makes all the soppy, silly, childish answers seem even worse............

Most of the time I try to give good answers to people's questions; I strive to speak the truth and I like to help people by giving advice or opinions based on my experiences.
I have had 84 best answers - good track record but always shooting for more. :)

P.S. Oops. I just realized that I didn't really answer your question. I interpreted it wrong. Sorry. The fact of the matter is that I hardly ever ask questions on here. I prefer to answer other people's questions than ask my own.

I received a lot of good answers to my questions and sometimes it is very hard to choose a best answer. Sometimes though you do get answers that a clearly put there to offend you. But it is better to not let them bother you.

There was an answer to my question that said there 'maybe, he was not the one...only i know is that success is the best revenge....' I was really touched by that answer...bcoz that answer was on my mind...
