I have an English Mastiff, and my vet told me that their skin is really sensitive, No suggestions on the flea spray, they will never like that cause when you first put it on it drives the fleas crazy which in turn drives the dog crazy, try that stuff that you put on the back of the neck, my Mastiff likes that pretty well. As far as the water is concerned, leave the hose on after you water your dog, and act like your just watering the yard or something after a while the dog will become curious mabe and want to play in it. Thats what we did with our Mastiff, he loves the water now. Make sure noone sprays the dog though, if you spray the dog when they dont want to be they will grow to hate the water, let your dog get in the water itself, mabe it will work mabe not.. Good Luck

Most pets don't like to be sprayed with anything. One thing you could do is set down and do it in sessions instead of trying to spray Keira all at once. Show the bottle. Don't make faces when you do it. Praise, Praise, Praise. After you get a section done, give a treat. You may want to think of going with Frontline Plus instead of a spray. Fleas die once they bite the pet with that. And the disadvantage with the spray is you may not cover the entire dog to kill the fleas.

Many dogs don't like being sprayed with flea stuff you could try to get your dog the flea stuff in a tablet 4flea do some tablets which you could get from you local pet shop or if you really want to use the spray try to offer treats to show her that it is really not that bad. The sound of the spray may also not be helping so try to over sound that with you voice.

Pets at Home do their own version of flea tablets for dogs and they are pretty good too and not expensive, easier than spraying flea control on dogs, you can get a tablet form of flea control from the vets called Program that is excellent, six tablets taken one a month for the six months, about £25 but well worth it.

Why use a spray when you can get one of those products that a single drop placed on his back behind the neck will clear the bloody things from the whole of his body? Keep the spray for your furniture and floors.

most animals dont like it why not try the tablet for of flea repelent or the vacine as these work for 6 months at a time which saves on your dog surrering.
its just the same as someone with a fobia if they dont like something they will never get used to it.

yeh my dogs hate it too...i use the little vials now instead. But you could always use the spray to scold the dog when he is bad, that way, he learns his lesson, and he gets de flea-ed at the same time!

Reward the dog afterwards with a cookie or something they don't normally get. They'll learn that when they get sprayed, they'll get a reward and may start to behave.

Because it drys his skin like soap can. I recommend using Dove TM.

Your dog is no different to any other dog, they all hate it. There is no magic solution except to ask someone to help you.
