Check with your local state laws. Most states will let you choose the curriculum you want to use for your child. When you fill out the forms for your state, you need to state what curriculum you will use. If you choose the CD-ROMs for the grade level, you just need to state that along with the publisher of the CD-ROMs.
Good luck and God Bless!

I THINK you need to contact the school district (or someone official in the education arena)...because states have certain curriculum that you HAVE to follow. It's not just a matter of deciding to keep him home to teach him. There are specific rules you have to follow, and tests he must take in order for you to home school. My youngest sister home schools her kids and she has to order school books and DVD's specific to each child's grade level, which have been approved by someone...Dept. of Ed. maybe. I have posted a link that may be helpful.

Put your child back in school. From the way you wrote your question it is clear that your English is sub standard and as a result your ability to keep your child on a par with his contemporaries is in serious doubt.

It depends on which state your in. In most states, parents are free to choose which curriculum they want to use.
You might like Abeka http://www.abeka.com or Lifepac http://www.aop.com
Both offer curriculam by the subject or by the grade.
