Yes but it is very difficult. The US postal service gives an extremely high preference to US Veterans and it is so much that it's almost impossible to work there unless you are a veteran.

they can if in possession of green card and can pass the civil service test however the postal service does give preference to all vets and specially disabled ones

I know somebody who was not a citizen and worked sorting mails. But it was a temporary holiday season job. Not sure if rules are different for permanent job.

Yep, my bother inlaw states that there is a lot of india people with green cards working there in post office sorting mail.

if you have a friend that will fix your papers for you then yes you can it seems like all you got to do is know someone or trade for something else i know my job does its only obvious.until hopefully you get caught.
