I see that you listed Solomon in your Question.
He was Known for his wisdom.
I suggest you use him as an example. I bet if he were in todays world, he would go to a good Christian bible believing church.
Read the bible thoughtfully, and prayerfully.
Ask his pastor first, and then ask his question in yahoo answers.
I have a question now.
I wonder whether solomon's would sound like your question?
By the way If you do decide to read the bible thoroughly, you are not going to find the part about hating gay people.
Slavery happened to be a part of the culture of human beings when the bible was written. polygamy was also a neccesary part of culture in the beginning in order to continue the species. Check out the number of people populating the earth then, and the population now.
God gave man free choice, and man came up with the idea of slavery, along with many other destructive ideas, like your question.

You're not under grace now, so by all means, do that. It's a free country.
I must apologize to you, Jim. I gave you thumbs down on this question because I got a new mouse and it's faster than I'm used to, and I tried to click "Answer Question" and I hit the thumbs down accidentally. Sorry. I'm an uncoordinated dork.
Sigh...It's also too early for me to be answering questions. I guess polygamy isn't really permissible in this "free country" after all, now that I think about it. My point was, do what you want, because you aren't under grace now.

WHy WHY wHY. Why is it that people must mock the word of God. It is getting very boring. They could not do those things and live under grace neither can you. Since God has a reason for all He does wo are we to queation Him. Can you fill His shoes and create something from nothing? Or can you lead a perfect life here on earth without sin. Until you can do tose things maybe you should quit mocking God.

I think you can take any part of the bible you wish to apply to you.. it seems to be what is already done. Can you have two wives and still live under grace.. I don't know but I'd think that'd be living under pressure....

Well im not god so i cant answer that. But I can say that the more immediate problem is that the law doesn't allow that. Also one woman is hard enough to live with why would you want two. If its just the sex then join a swingers club or something.

Really depends on your local laws. Just because I want to imitate Bruce Willis in "Die Hard" movie doesn't mean the local police will appreciate my aspirations.

Sure, why not? Most people who believe in the Bible take what they want from it and disregard the rest or interpret it to justify their actions.

Sure...isn't that what a lot of people do? Interpret the Bible to suit their needs, and whatever does not suit their needs, they just tend to forget or refuse to acknowledge that its in there?
