Adultery is considered a sin in all religions. The Bible decrees the death sentence for both the adulterer and the adulteress (Lev. 20:10) . Islam also equally punishes both the adulterer and the adulteress (Quran 24:2). However, the Quranic definition of adultery is very different from the Biblical definition. Adultery, according to the Quran, is the involvement of a married man or a married woman in an extramarital affair. The Bible only considers the extramarital affair of a married woman as adultery (Leviticus 20:10, Deuteronomy 22:22, Proverbs 6:20-7:27).
"If a man is found sleeping with another man's wife, both the man who slept with her and the woman must die. You must purge the evil from Israel" (Deut. 22:22).

"If a man commits adultery with another man's wife both the adulterer and the adulteress must be put to death" (Lev. 20:10).

Get your facts RIGHT!!!!!

Muhammad made some progress in improving the treatment of women and expanding their rights during his time, but the world has come a long way since then, and now Islam is lagging behind, which is a terrible shame. Religions encourage people to stand still, and that's never a good thing.

Many Christian denominations have made great strides toward more equitable treatment for women. Many accept women in ministerial roles, though others remain intractably against the idea. Shame. They'll all come around eventually, but many battles will have to be fought to get there.

No, not one. They make a good play at it though.

The Bible Leviticus 20:10
If a man commits adultery with another man's wife—with the wife of his neighbor—both the adulterer and the adulteress must be put to death.( By stoning)

The Bible Leviticus 20:11
" If a man sleeps with his father's wife, he has dishonored his father. Both the man and the woman must be put to death;

The Quran 024.002
The woman and the man guilty of adultery or fornication,- flog each of them with a hundred stripes: Let not compassion move you in their case, in a matter prescribed by God, if ye believe in God and the Last Day: and let a party of the Believers witness their punishment.

Christians are not able to comply with these any longer, why not. Muslims suffer from like defect in that they usually don't stone or punish both participants.

Wicca, Paganism, Buddhism are more a way of
life, so they really don't count as organized
religion as such. Atheism is most definitely not a religion, it is a lack of belief in such things as religion, gods and all its attendant arbitrary rules and beliefs.

Take a look at Wicca (or other forms of paganism). We revere both a male and a female deity, and both men and women are permitted to become priests. Some groups do practice exclusion of one gender or the other, but in large part, that's personal preference, not a rule.

Yes I can believe it. Christianity has been just as guilty in the past though, denying women's sexuality, sexual freedom and control over their own bodies (think: conjugal rights, contraception and rape within marriage). In answer to your question though, Wicca, Paganism, Ba'hai and Buddism, to name but a few, do not have this attitude towards women.

Wicca isn't sexist. A lot of the old Celtic religions (prob called paganism today) were non sexist, women were equal to men and also honoured.

Well sexism in religion may be a matter of opinion.
But I think Pagans, Wiccans, Spiritualists, are all pretty fairly decent to women by comparison.

In my life journey I have visited many parts of the world and have worshipped in many churches. Many of the modern evangelical groups seem to be very open to involvement and leadership from both sexes. Personally, I like the inclusive attitude of the Quakers, although historically they were very male dominant.

I dont believe in any of that I think it's just their way to control others it has nothing to do with anything other than power.
