me and my mom was fighting today cause i said i wasn't going to school. she told me either i go to school or go to a mental hospital. which one should i choose the mental hospital or school.

Unless your sick, you should go to school, before you mess up your life! If you get into the habit of disobeying your mom, and running away to hospitals, your future will not be to bright. I speak from personal experience, I didn't do as well as I could have in high school, and it has taken me 5 years to get a good job, but still it's better to skip junior college and go straight to a university. Junior college is a waste of 2-4 years when you could spend extra time in high school to get a scholarship, or accepted at a top notch school.

You know what in the hospital they might be able to help you to figure out why you hate school. It might also give you a brake from your mother. Some of the places are like country clubs.

Why is she wanting to send you to the mental hospital? You do not provide enough detail. Are you in your thirties and depressed for many years? Why would she want to commit you?

it seems you are depressed about something or the environment of your school is not good and you feel unsafe there.... if it is true i think you should tell your mom about it and she will find a solution to your problem...
