So the past couple weeks have been kind of stressful between my g/f and me. We have been dating 3 months and i am absolutly in love with her and have been wanting to step it up in the relationship, not pressuring her though, because i don't want her to fake being a way, last nigght, after a stupid little fight she said i love you to me for the first time... then while holding her she started to cry, and then we didn't really talk about it because it was late and now i work all day.. i'm so confused.. does anyone know what this could be about?

She was probably crying over the fight, and thinking about it made her feel bad. You both love each other, that is good. Email her or call her from work on your break just to say hi or that you were thinking of her.

awwww! you have to understand that for girls, small things mean a lot. The reason why she started crying was probably because she was thinking about the fight, and that she could have lost you, so she finally told you she loved you for the first time. and in case you didn't know 'firsts' are a BIG deal to girls. When you two shared your first kiss, she probably cried then too, lol. if not right then, at home. Don't be confused, if she ever cries, and your holding her, or doing something sweet like that, its a good thing. ^.^

How nervous are you when you first say those words-or have you? If she said it while or after you two were fighting, it could be just built up emotion. Or, since you 'didn't talk about it' and just held her, she may think you do not feel the same way. If you truly care about her, be kind and patient and TALK to her. We love analysing everything! Especially when we are unsure of ourselves.

Big B that is not an approiate answer so I reported you!

Moto to start an serious relationship as you said you want to step it up with her you have to first be able to talk to her, about problems so just ask her youhave tobe able to talk about anything if you really care about her . In any relationship you need to talk how are you going to know what is wrong if you dont?

Sometimes people are afraid of the emotion of love and/or shocked that they are capable of loving another person. But I'm not suggesting that this is the case, just speaking from personal experience.

Obviously something is on her mind. I suggest you talk about it to her and don't foget to mention that you love her too. Maybe she feels that you don't love her and maybe she was embarrased telling you this after only a few months. Just talk and tell her that you love her too because you wouldn't be asking this if you weren't.

she could've just been upset about the fight, and or relieved that the fight was over...
or she cou;d've been happy that she said i love you and realised that she didn't want to lose you after that fight... i understand why you would be confused but i read this question and thought it was quite sweet.
i hope ive helped slightly and i wish you the best.

First off I want to say thank you to Angel, because WTF did we do before he trademarked that expression!!:) (I say it with love and respect) But now to you - it sounds like it was a huge deal for her to be able to say it and she had a little emotional breakdown. Don't over analyze. She said it - she probably meant it, if not you'll find out today or tomorrow...
