No - what you described is only if you're concerned with your own selfish needs & desires. Which is wrong.
The Why of Life, is to learn to make the world a better place to live, To learn to be a Better individual, to make better choices in your life.
To make a difference. For everyone, even if its only in your own part of the neighborhood or your part of the country.
Of course you could just take the easy option, and only look out for yourself and your own selfish needs. Like everyone else.
Which is why the planet is dying.
But do you really care? If you did , you would be out there and looking to find what you Can do to make the world a better place to live, not just for yourself, but for your children and the future of all humanity.
You will live out your own lifetime, in reasonably good circumstances. But your children and your grand children will see the world as a much bleaker place to live. Because the Environment is beginning to deteriorate at an alarming rate. They are the ones who will suffer because of the sins of our generation and the sins of our parents and those who came before us.
All the clues and the facts are in the news, if you don't believe me. Global warming has already been going on in the last decade, speicies are dying all over the planet, ecosystems are dying everywhere, over population is rampant. Nature can no longer keep up with our wastes & garbage.
What you might like to ask is - is it too late, can you really make a difference. A lot of people are in denial, because they are only looking with their own selfish needs for the immediate future. They don't care beyond that, because it will be Their Problem.
The Human speicies only has about a hundred to a hundred and fifty years, before it gets really really bad, and it doesn't matter that God is going to save the few who believe God will save them. Because Judgement Day has already come and gone.
Vanity is a sin, their own vanity that they were going to be saved, condemmed them to share the fate of the world.

Life is a great gift that should be lived. What are you really doing to live it. Get out and do things. Look at life as your personal book, you are the person who is writing each page. If you do not like what you are seeing, then start writing something new. This will allow you to define who you are and what you will allow to happen. No one can do it for you.

quick and simple
* to acknowledge jesus as lord and saviour
*to love him with with all your heart
*trust in his way
and guess what if you trust him he'll reveal to you your purpose and plans to you. I reallllllllllllllllllly recommend a book called The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren. That has all the answers to questions. oh and dying would be the next best bit of life becuase then you get to spend eterniiittttttttty with God in total bliss. and im not in fantasy land this is reality. Search for Jesus and all will be unvieled. God bless your journey.

Life gives us opportunities to develop ourselves; to learn the virtues. Some lessons may be easy to learn, others may be more difficult. But the more difficult lessons, once learned and continually practiced will become a part of our personality.
Death? Death assures us that physical pain can be overcome.
Hurt teaches us how to learn to forgive others and more importantly, ourselves.

perhaps we are THE DEITY'S entertainment. Just think if you knew everything wouldn't this become boring to you ? so it might be with THE DEITY. what better way to end boredom than to create a living being in THE DEITY'S likeness and give them a flaw so THE DEITY could observe what actions these beings are doing for entertainment purposes.

We are created to serve and submit to God.
Our current world is only a test, as the eternal life is in the hereafter.
We will be judge by God Himself when the time come.
Though this world is a test, we are still be given certain reward from God.This u will understand when u really submt to God and His will.

Mammals are here to transport seeds and other stuff for plants and other animals.
Humans are excrement factories and that's what we are here for. To spread manure far and wide so life can continue on...
Ask yourself what all humans do irrespective of race, religion, nationality, IQ, infirmities, or anything short of death?
The answer is we spread manure...
