one co-worker had a nervous breakdown previously so she walks around humming all day, regardless of whatever song may be playing on the radio she has her own song in her head. She speaks with a very nasally voice, says "um kay" allot. Like that character on south park.
another co-worker seems to have lost her self confidence, even though she is about 30 years my senior I seem to have to babysit her. Often reminding her of policies or answering her question for the umpteenth time. She will mumble about customers while they are still in her midst.
another co-worker is from another country she is always asking me how to spell words, like today she wanted to know how to spell the word with. She also asks me questions about pronunciation such as suck and sock, what they mean and what the difference is. I could really mess her up if I had the motive to.The worst part about this particular person is the work she doesn't do, We have the same posistion and I end up doing soo much more to make things carry on as they should.
another co-worker that happens to be a woman wears her pants low like gangster boys do, you know the young boys that show their boxer shorts? I really, really want to go up behind her and pull them up! Looks like her torso is miles long and her legs are little stumps.
One last thing to top it off. All the smoke breaks. I almost want to take up smoking just to I can take as many breaks as the rest of the world. But I think I would throw it off its axis, guess some of us just have to be non smokers.

Oh Here We Go Sam....my co-worker talks to herself ALL DAY LONG in a voice loud enough for others to think she is talking to them. This goes on when we are on the phone with clients, when we are trying to work on reports and any other activity we may be trying to do. She has been there for 16 years, so there is no way to just tell her shut up. PLUS she sings Christmas and Religious songs all the time too. She is a wonderful person, very Religious and Praising God continually....REALLY! I don't deny her right to pray, loudly, constantly. I love God too, but I get so uncomfortable around her, not to mention that her loud musings disrupt my ability to hear when I am on the phone with a client. Thank you Sam for the question. Now you know why people end up going "postal" on others! :)

I don't have a co-worker as I work for myself, but in the past when I did have a J-O-B, I was always annoyed by co-workers who were either lazy or else excessively obsessed with keeping everything excessively tidy to the point of expecting others to follow suit.

I have a co-worker that answers questions you are asking someone on the phone. I'll be sitting there talking to one of the field employees about something and he'll be sitting across from me commenting on some of the stuff we talk about or, if I happen to ask the person on the phone a question he'll chime in with an answer. I know you can't help but overhear conversations when they are taking place right in front of you but have the decency to pretend you can't hear it!

I share an office with my co-worker who speaks very loudly on the phone, yells at his staff and worst of all has IBS (irritable bowl syndrome). yeak-:( Some days are really bad as the room is enclosed without proper vent and the stink from the fart bombs is nasty. I get nauseated with that overwhelming "aroma".
Lately I have even started giving hints with a deodorant spray as soon as he let's go one. Nice guy but Oh boy, I certainly am not looking forward to continue working in that office.

This one particular co-worker is so annoying. He speaks so loudly on his phone without considering everyone else around him and he is always complaining about something. Man I hate him!

I work in an office with my boss, an older man, who reads everything aloud, clicks his teeth very loudly, has a breathing problem so that he wheeses loudly all day long, has bad breath.
He sent out an e-mail to every person in the company yesterday (over 900 people) he is reading me all the names of the return receipts confirmations "John Adams read it", "Marcy Thomas read it.." "Dave Matthews did not read it, who is Dave Matthews, I don't know Dave Matthews?" "Stephanie Marks read it."...blah blah blah
