If I'm suddenly awakened (by a noise or anything, I guess) I see large black spiderwebs in front of my face. Like in the middle of the room or in the corners of the ceiling. They seem real because I'm actually awake. The first time it happened I was so scared and confused. But now if I see one I tell my self, "I need to wake up so it will go away." Even though I know they're not real, I wonder what the heck causes this. Hallucinations are common when people are in between sleep and alert states but why spiderwebs...everytime? Does this ever happen to you or someone you know? Do you know what this means? Have you ever seen anything strange under similar circumstances?
