sorry before you should worry about their mental health?

I have 5 indoor cats, 2 outdoor cats, and 2 dogs. Animal hoarding isn't just about the mental health of the person but also the safety and care of the animals. I would consider to much when you can't give each animal it's personal attention and care. I love animals and ever since I was a kid I've helped stray cats. But even I know when it's to much. It can become overwhelming having so many animals depend on you. I've had to take quite a few cats to the animal shelter in hopes they can find a home that will give them all the attention and care they need. Money wise I wouldn't have been able to help every stray if they were sick or hurt. That's another way you can tell if you have to many. If you can't afford to take each and everyone to the vet when they need it.
An animal hoarder was defined as "someone who accumulates a large number of animals; fails to provide minimal standards of nutrition, sanitation and veterinary care; and fails to act on the deteriorating condition of the animals (including disease, starvation and even death) or the environment (severely overcrowded and unsanitary conditions), or the negative impact of the collection on their own health and well-being."

hahaha, thats funny. It depends on what they do with the pets. I used to know this girl...I should say used to party with this girl. Anyways she had like 12 cats 5 dogs a bunch of birds and ferrets and **** all running around her house. That place stunk!!! She really loved animals. My friend told me a story though: One of the cats had kittens and like 3 of them died. I don't know what the friend was doing but he found in one of her desk drawers a tupperware with the three dead kittens in it...sick...that causes me to worry about mental health

I have 5 adult dogs, 4 puppies, 4 cats & would still like to sponsor more animals so that they aren't put down.
I am redheaded & may not be mentally stable but I enjoy myself! LMAO
