I have just been through it as a matter of interest...the guy is mad as hell, but mad in my kind of way...He openly admits to being condemned to hell by the Catholics as I was at a young age (I was jokingly told I was the worst catholic since Gengis Kahn what I was but 12 years old). We both took very different philosophical routes from there, but I suddenly feel an empathy there none the less!

It is easy to pillary someone in public with this website, once again I am as guilty as the next man...

but are you brave enough to go one-on-one in debate though?

I asked him in an instant message to explain why Jesus never reversed the ruling in Exodus 21:20-21 where it states the master of a slave is not to be punished for beating their slave if the slave lives past one day.
I was told he was busy.

I take that as "victory"

I agree with about 95% if his answers. Many people on here don't like him because they know he's right on the money most of the time. He can get a point across in ten words or less, when it takes many atheist a novel to rant on. (and I still can't figure out their point) I personally think it would be a great honor to have a bible study or religious debate with Don.

I don't think most of his posts are valid but he has a right to post them. I will not debate him when all we will come to is a agree to disagree stalemate. I like your question and the validity of it.

Too bad the person in your answer isn't that smart and did the insulting why not ask Donna and take his pic and add a blond wig.

Why do you suppose anyone would want to waste their time - especially when time is all we really own, and even we don't know how much of it we have! - debating a lunatic? What good could possibly come from expending the effort? My time is important for me to use as I see fit, it is not an option for someone else to waste.

c'yao!

Many people are told they are gonna go to hell, which isn't a reason to condemn Catholics. Most Protestants are taught that Catholics are not Christian (several of my Catholic cousins went to Protestant grade schools and this was what was being taught) and need to be saved and so people of any idealogy can be hateful and in error.

I think he is missing something.

God instructs the wise( God fearing ones ) to turn down foolish questions and debates. If you are wise then you know that fruitless debates get men elected to office that farmers use to occupy in Government. At great cost to the tax payers. Solve the problems of hate , war. violence racism and the like...not debates that wind up in self imposed wisdom of this dying planet. Bravery would have little to do with it.......... wasting time...time is valuable

I don't think I'd get through to him. When I was young I was told that every time I committed a sin I pushed another thorn into Jesus' head. Nice thing to say to an 11 year old.

I debate when I disagree. I like to by e mail so as not to tie up lots of public space.
