I guess some women might feel that way because it helps their self-esteem. I don't think that every compliment is genuine.

Not all women, I'm a female too but most women think everything is complimentary because they don't get sarcasim. Or that women are naturally less like to not give a compliment that is they don't see fit

I find the opposite is true....so many women are told something complimentary and then they say they don't think so.

I know a lot of women that are the opposite, and can be one of them...
Maybe because people (not just women) like to believe nice things about themselves when people say them.

We like to hear that all of the worrying, detail, love, and the stress that we go through is justified with the fact that we really are doing a great job in one way or another.

it is a compliment ,if it`s from someone, who is just a nice person-who does`nt expect anything in return-if it`s from someone you question theirs motives -thats a different story
