No, your growth is controlled by the human growth hormone in your body. People grow at different rates. I knew a boy in junior high who went on summer vacation and was only 5 feet 4 inches tall. When we went back to school in the fall he was 6 feet 5 inches tall!

Your brother is probably going through a growth spurt and you on the other hand may be just slowing down and reaching your adult height!
Taking cold or hot baths does not have any effect on height!

Bathing in cold water temporarily constricts small blood vessels close to the surface of the skin, forcing blood to the thoracic region to keep your core body temperature. This will not effect growth.

Well, my bro is very tall. He used to go swimming in cold water but there must be sun to make your bone grow. Try jogging and hiking on a small mount. It can strengthen your muscle too, so that you are tall and muscular.

I don't think that this has anything to do with it, it is very typical for boys to grow taller than girls and especially a boy of age 12 to be going through a growth spurt...it is just have we are made up.

Hmmm... if that were true, I would have thought it would be the opposite. (You would be taller because you bathe in cold water.) I'm sure there is no scientific evidence of that, but if you would like to get in touch with your local university and tell them your findings, I'm sure they would appreciate it!

Genealogy is the study of family trees. Your question is fine, but it is in the wrong category. I hate to see people shopping for apples in the cheesemonger's stall.
