All who have sinned apart from the law will also perish apart from the law, and all who have sinned under the law will be judged by the law.
For it is not the hearers of the law who are righteous in God's sight, but the doers of the law who will be justified.
When Gentiles, who do not possess the law, do instinctively what the law requires, these, though not having the law, are a law to themselves. They show that what the law requires is written on their hearts, to which their own conscience also bears witness; and their conflicting thoughts will accuse or perhaps excuse them on the day when, according to my gospel, God, through Jesus Christ, will judge the secret thoughts of all.

Paul was talking about the difference in the legalism of the Jewish faith and the freedom that Christ brings. God established the law for the Jewish people as a means for them to know him... Over the years, the people became more concerned with the carrying out of the law than the intent of it. When Jesus came, God provided a means to know himself outside of the law. That is why Jesus said he came to complete the law.... With Jesus, we didn't need to read the law to know how God wanted us to live, we could see for ourselves.
And for the record, Gentiles are any people who are not Jewish... Not non Christian Jews as explained previously.

Gentiles who have not heard of the law will also be judged accordingly if you sin apart from the law you will also persish apart from the law but if they also do things according to the law even if they have not heard of the law they will be justified. But its still a disadvantage to not have heard the law because you might sin "apart from the law" and those who are saved or excused apart from the law must "do instinctively what the law requires" which should be aligned to their conscience. But they might not have these laws "written on their hearts" and thus not do them instinctively and so perish. So this is the reason the gospel is preached to people. I think there is a verse in the Bible that says "if we(disciples) do not preach the gospel who will?" something like that that says the effects of preaching and spreading the teachings by the disciples.

To me, this means that God has written in the heart of every human the basic requirements of morality. If a person has never heard the truth about God or Jesus, he or she should operate in accord with their inborn conscience. Then when God judges all people, He will take into account whether they did the best they could to live virtuously considering how much of the Truth they knew.

It would have been better to quote more so that others will see that Paul is talking about those who have NEVER HEARD OF JESUS.
Those who have never heard of Jesus are judged by their actions under the law. IOW: They are judged by their good works while in this world for God has written the law on the hearts of all men as Romans says.
Those who die having heard of Jesus, will not die under the law (or by their good works) but will be judged by their faith.

I quote this scripture a lot. It takes more than claiming to be a
Christian, to be a Christain. Jesus said He was the WAY. And we have to live life the way He asked us to.
People who tell you you won't make it unless you cliam to be
a Christian haven't got a clue. Christ is not a person or religion.
It is the unifying of our Creators own body. All of our spirits
being a spark of the LIGHT that God is.
"As the body has many members. And all those members are
one body. So is CHRIST!"

The previous verses coach us the context is approximately no longer letting our freedom be a reason for stumbling to others. Jesus set a good occasion in this regard. as an occasion he became prepared to pay temple tax even even with the undeniable fact that, because of the fact the son of the great King Jehovah, he became no longer obligated to. (Matthew 17:24-27) Christians could have the comparable psychological physique of ideas - being prepared to forego particular rights/freedoms so as to no longer stumble others.

People who go against the law of God will be judged and possibly punished.
However, people who obey the law -- even if they don't know what the law is -- will be judged favorably.

It means what ever crime you commit, you will pay for regardless of if human judgement is passed or if it passed by God.

Sin is an outdated concept. Instead of relying on old books to dictate morality to you, try thinking for yourself.
Religion causes moral laziness.

Yes, but we need to be saved to get to Heaven. If not (saved), I don't think it will matter too much.
