Only a guy that's a real cheapskate would make his date pay anything.

I always went with a rule that the guy pays on the first date & then after that, the one who makes the invite pays.
But to answer your question: I think it does take the pressure off; I've dated many women who were offended if I insisted on paying every time. They wanted to contribute, be independent as opposed to being taken care of. Women are supposed to be equals, so I have no problem with them paying some of the time.

i really don't think that it is a problem for the girl to help out "SOME!!!!". I mean not everything.. Now a days money is hard to come by sometimes... Men or boys work just as hard for there money as girls do.. So i always try to help the guy out when we go out... and i never feel like he is cheap. I just try to have a good time.... so i would think it would ease the pressurre off both you and your date

ofcourse yes.when you share it will make sure that there will be no economical problem for you but i think its not good sometimes. because when you both spend only to your own things no doubt it will make the pressure off,but it will alienate the chemistry between the partners.sharing sometimes not all the time is good

No. The guy should pay. And if he isn't willing to spend a whole lot, then take her to Mcdonald's. Can't go wrong there. Everybody likes McDonald's. And if she doesn't, hey there's always Buger King.
