Lose weight if you are not healthy, and do it for yourself, not for someone else. If you're not feeling sexy because of your mate's words, tell her/him how that makes you feel. We should see ourselves through our own eyes, not others'. Peace.

YOu have to feel with happy with you - so keep trying. Just focus and you will be there soon.
Listen: you need to do 200 minutes of cardio a week. Remember fat does not turn into muscle, so you need to lose your fat while putting on muscle. The 45 minute thing is not true, but don't over 60 minutes at a time.
Do 5-10 minutes of cardio to warm up, then do your weight training. Do 30 to 60 minutes more of cardio, then go home.
The best time to eat is just after your workout within an hour when your metabolism is raging. For your muscles, incorporate some isolated soy protein or whey protein. Whey is more potent but the soy tastes better!
Don't look at your scale as the be all and end all, but get a measuring tape to check your progress, and that will show more tangible results.
Good luck and stick at it.

Sounds like you have a fantastic boyfriend- and he obviously still finds you very attractive if he wants to see you in your sexiest attire!
But that's not always enough- you also deserve to be happy with what you see in the mirror. I think you should try and lose the weight you've put on if that's going to make you feel sexy again- BUT only if that's putting you within a healthy weight range!

I think you should do what you want because ultimately your the one who has to live with "you". Self image is a lot to a person and can show through in your attitude towards life.
I always say that "You only have one body for your entire life, so treat it right". If you feel that you are overweight maybe you should go to your doctor and get a second opinion. If your docotr says you could stand to lose a few pounds then he/she is probably right.
I never had much success with any diet until I found "The Rice Diet". Now I've lost 38 pounds and I'm feeling great, it's kinda nice getting second looks again ;) I know that they say that "image isn't everything" but who are we kidding? Our own self image IS important!!
So do what feels right for you!!
Take Care You,
Nathalie

If you want to lose weight because it will make you feel happier. Please do! All the best.
Where the love between you and your partner is concerned, do not let your figure be a factor!
But if it does give you more confidence in losing weight and feeling more sexy for your partner, then go ahead, but make sure that your relationship has more to just being sexy for each other.

I'm currently on Weightwatchers even though my boyfriend says I was fine the way I was. we now have an agreement, I stop the diet when my boobs are below a D, I am now a stone lighter and much happier, my boyfriend is too because my sex drive was very low before but now it's rocketed!
You need to do what's right for you honey. Weightwatchers are brilliant because you'll have group support and will be much more likely to loose the weight.
My boyfriend likes me to dress sexy to, at first I was horrified (eek cellulite etc) but in all honesty men don't notice and you never know it might raise your confidence!

well if you fell that you are not healty then just loose weight, but if you are healty then don't,cause your health is important.everybody feels that they are fat even that they are not fat. if you dont feel comfortable with stockens and high hills than just don't wear them if your partner loves you the way you are than he won't mind if you don't wear them

I've just had the same problem and my fella said the same as yours. I went ahead and lost weight for myself and not for anybody else. I feel so much better for it and have lost two and a half stones as well as going down three dress sizes. Do it for yourself and your own wellbeing. Good luck to you.......

It sounds like your boyfriend love you the way you are, but it's about what you think of yourself. If you don't like the way you look, feel free to change it. Just don't turn it into some sick anorexic game or something.
