Why not an engraved picture frame with both of your names and the date of your wedding? A CD of your favorite songs together, or the songs that are played at the wedding. My husband bought me an engraved silver lipstick holder. It doesnt have to be big, just something that would be special to both of you.

Congratulations & Best Wishes

My husband bought me a diamond pendant that had the same diamond cut as my ring. If you do this make sure that the necklace will be visible for the wedding day, ....check the neckline of her dress. If she is wearing a halter top wedding gown, this is a no go. On second thought she probably won't tell you so ask the Maid of Honor or a bridesmaid for clues as to what chain size you will need to purchase. Diamond stud earrings are always really nice too, especially if she doesn't already have a pair. Good Luck and Congratulations :)

I'm getting married next year and I'd really like my hubby to be to buy me a necklace and matching earrings to wear on the day. Nothing extravagant, as I like simple jewellery. Maybe your fiancee would like something that would fit in with her dress or the same colour as the bridesmaids. I'm thinking of buying my bloke some fancy cuff links and a hip flask engraved with his initials and the wedding date. Would you like that? Perhaps it is enough that you bought each other wedding rings? I'm not expecting my hubby to buy me anything but if he did that's what I'd like.....If he doesn't then that's OK too as I know he has spent a lot on other things.
If she already has the necklace and earrings sorted, what about a bracelet, you could get it engraved or one with a locket....
Good luck, and I'm sure she'll be chuffed that you even thought about it.

Hi im getting married next year and i dont expect nothing from my hubby to be as the most precious thing he can give me is the ring on my finger and to be married. So i dont think its nesscary to buy a wedding gift for each other. But if she does insist on you getting her a present, get her a necklace and earing set, she can either wear it on the wedding day or on the wedding night.

Are you talking about the gift that the bride and groom exchange right before the wedding? If so, my husband bought me a beautiful necklace with matching earrings to wear on the day of the wedding. He also surprised me with a cute ankle bracelet that I wore when I walked down the aisle. Hope that helped.

I once made this for our anniversary:

1) Buy a small pretty notebook
2) Buy a pack of heart shaped post it notes
3) Stick one post it note on each page (use glue so they don't fall out)
4) Using a nice pen, write one thing you love about your other half on each post it note (i.e.: 'I love the way you..'). Try and think of a mixture of romantic, sweet and funny things.
5) Call the book something sweet ('I love you because....' or 'Things I love about you')
6) Box or wrap in good quality handmade paper

I think this would be really appreciated as it shows thought and effort. Also, when I got married, I stayed in a hotel the night before. My then husband-to-be arranged for a small gift to me to be placed on my pillow by one of my Bridesmaids, which was really sweet, along with a 'to my wife on our wedding day' card.

Happy wedding planning!

Go to a local bookstore and buy here a big huge wedding planning book. They are a big help and a great gift for someone planning on getting married.

it depends what situation you are in... if you are in the money then go for something that she can wear on the big day that it very personal, such as a lovely pair of diamond or pearl earings, but you would then have to take her shopping with you so that they went with her dress. Or plan something special for the such as a helicopter to the wedding reception or on the honeymoon, upgrade the suite without telling her or plan a special reception for her when she gets off the plane,,, if you do not have the money then she would be grateful for you not spending the money and using it towards something that is really needed.

A popular gift is pearls, like a necklace or earings but I don't really care for them and I think they are out dated. Some women really love them. Maybe that. Or you could get her some diamond earrings. Something classic and every girl would love that.

We could not afford at the time to get each other anything. So later on for our six month anniversary we went all out!

Im getting married the end of this month so I know what your going through! My fiance has bought me something but i have no idea what it is (kindof scared to find out). Buy her something which will mean alot to her, something which is only relevant to you or her. You could buy her a book of quotes about love and mark the ones which sum u 2 up. I dunno, this is a tough one! Im buying my fiance a map of the world because he mentioned that he would love to have one so we could mark off everywhere we've been together.
