No one has the power to save them-self...It is only through God's grace through faith in him that we can be saved. If you believe in salvation, it's not absurd to believe that it comes through faith...It's necessary. If we could be saved by our works, there would be no need for God to save us... we could do it ourselves... and self-salvation is an absurd thought.
The book of James addresses faith and works. He says "faith without works is dead." What he means is not that salvation requires works, but instead that works are the natural response to true faith in Christ. If you truly believe in Jesus then you can't help but do good works as a result of that faith.

the persons who're taught that faith on my own is widely used with the help of Jesus. it is faux indoctrination it is likewise deceptive. It obviously states by the e book of Acts and James that baptism immersion, preparation and witnessing about God and Christ, and demonstrating a willingness to artwork for God and the church is a call for. Christianity isn't about once saved, continuously saved and faith surely misconceptions. that's a lot deeper and calls for very much of works and faith besides as being a real instructor of Christ. everybody who ever suggested that being a Christian is uncomplicated hasn't ever studied scripture.

Faith without works.... The working of the Holy Spirit in our walk. Seeing the fruit of the Holy Spirit in our life. those are the works that this is talking about. It isn't about doing good and charitable deeds, which is important, but the manifestation of Christ in us.
so in answer to your question no it isn't absurd, its required.

The idea of salvation is absurd. There is none. We all end up dead.
Faith is over-rated. It really just comes down to wishful thinking (or fearful thinking).
Our deeds are important, though. It is through them that we most accurately judge other people, and establish our own character. Talk is cheap.

It does not mean that you go on seen and will go to heaven. It is to show the strenth of faith for He will forgive you the previous seen but you are expected to lead a christian life.
And if you make a = = mistake - sin , not calculated one,== you will ask for forgiveness.

No. Works will do nothing to get us in Heaven. Our works will be tried. What is good will be rewarded, and bad will be burned up. Doing works is a sign of being a follower.

It is by grace you are saved, not by works lest anyone should boast.
We can never be good enough on our own marits. we couldn't do enough work. Grace is a gift and cannot be earned.
We are worth a Son to God.

Yes it is, but when you are marketing your new religion what better way to gain followers then by making it as easy as "just have faith".
