I have 4 10 inch (it says 700 on each of the subs box) subwoofers and 4 12 inch (says 800 on the box) subwoofers, would it sound good and would it have loud bass? If it doesnt, what should I take out and leave in or buy something else?

Try both seperated. You shouldn't mix them because of cancellation issues. As for which one will sound better thats impossible to tell because not only do have a different opinion as to what sounds good but there are so many factors that can affect you r install.

i say 4 12' and each box say 800 watts on each box rite that will give you loud bass but to have loud bass i think you dont need that many speaker with 1 15' speaker like eclipse or kicker but make sure for those 800 watts speaker i think you should put 1000watts on each box

too much bass I would at some mids to that and take out some bass such as the 10's and also if you have a deck with a eq like a pioneer it will be better

you're going to need one hell of an amp to power all those speakers. I would just use the 12's. If you use all 8 speakers you're going to need a 5000watt amp which will cost you some money and is pretty much overkill

the # of watts that you need to look for is the rms NOT the peak. the closer you match your amp to your speakers the better off you will be. ie a 600 watt amp with 600 watt speakers will sound better than a 600 watt amp with 800 watt speakers. more watts on your amp than on your speakers will produce a better sound but you have to restrain yourself on that volume.

10's generally sound tighter, and cleaner. and 12s generally are louder. i like tight accutate bass, but i went with 12s. imo you loose more volume with 10s, and less clarity with 12s.

what brand are they?
