I know this girl who I was once very cool with. I had to move away, and she lives over 2000 miles away from me now. Afterwards, she got a boyfriend, who I am not sure if she is still with or serious about anymore. I am now planing on moving somewhere, and she is graduating around the same time. I would like to approach the idea of us moving to similar locations, but considering that I am not dating this girl, and to all my knowledge she has a boyfriend right now, I don't know how to approach the subject. Any advice on what to do.

Let's be lifetime friends! Considering we know each other for so long, why don't we take advantage of this and help one another to get through the experience of moving into a new place.

Just tell her what you told us. You're moving to the same location and as she will be graduating soon, is she interested in sharing a place.

I would ask her if she has ever considerd moving wherever you are going and if so maybe she could help you get acclimated to the new area and life. Start simple so you dont scare her off. You never know until you ask
