Yes, Tiger is the Greatest Golfer the World has Ever seen. Moe Norman is the best ball striker. Moe also scored several 59s & 61s, and set numerous Course Records where he played

Not yet. He certainly looks like he could head that way but Nicklaus is still out in front in my books.
Not just for the golf either. On a recent promotional trip to the UK recently someone asked him if he would have a quick word with a fan who had a terminal illness. Jack spent half an hour chatting with the guy. That's the mark not just of a great golfer, but of a great man.

He is the most sucessfull at the moment, but that doesn't make him the best ever golfer!
Sports has become commercial now, so alot of the people on top get a lot of media coverage, so the world gets to know about them.
Tiger's unique circurmstances add to that, particular being black, as someone said, when Jack Nicklaus was at his peak, golf was not getting the coverage it gets now so mention his name, and people might say 'wasn't that the actor in as good as it gets'
He might turn out to be, but its too early to say.

Tiger is just the most successful at the moment, when he's still doing it in 20-30 years, on the tournaments for the aging golfers they hold. then yes, he'll be the most successful.

No, I believe he is a close second to Moe Norman. The best ball striker the universe has ever known.
He could hit a bucket of balls onto a blanket from 250 yds. All of them! He shot 68 once under the light of a full moon. That's how straight he hit it. He hit 2 balls OB in a span of 10 years and one was out by 6 inches on one. He hated putting and played "hunting flag stcks" with the late great George Knudson. He hit 7 flag sticks.
Moe rules.

He certainly is on the cusp of earning that accolade. To call him the greatest golfer ever, at this time, would be disrespectful to other great golfers who have preceded him. Perhaps, in twenty years, when all his accomplishments are behind him, and in retrospect of his of career such a value judgment may be in order.

I don't think he's as good as Nicklaus.
He is a very very good golfer no doubt, but I just hate the commentators' brown-nosing about him. I hate having to watch him cos every shot is 'magnificent' or 'spellbinding'. I would like him if it wasn't for that bit.

But Tiger has years to add to his already LEDGEND status..
Will end up as the greatest, until the next one comes along!
