She is most likely uncomfortable wearing it. Tell her that the next time she feels like taking it off, she should tell Mommy and that you will show her what to do.

Yes it could be, It be worth trying her again, and explain to her that she needs to tell you if she feels like a wee or poo, keep at it, and give her lots and lots of praise when she does use the potty. But sit her on the potty at times during the day, like when you have given her something to eat, sit her on the potty, and at intervals throughout the day. BUT put a nappy on her at night time, as she won't be ready to go through the night just yet.
Good Luck, you just have to keep at it, and you will have lots of wet patches to begin with, you just have to keep making sure that she knows what the potty is for and that she is getting a big girl without the nappy. It will take a few weeks, but she will get the hang of it, remember if you go out you need to take the potty with you.

I think that the first time you tried it was too early. I think now that your daughter is starting to show that she may be ready to start. But, although she is showing these signs she may not be fully ready to potty train it can and will still be a long journey. On the the same turn, she could also, next week decide that the potty will not be used by her. Just go with how she feels because at nearly two she is still quite young to have full control of her bladder.

It could be the start of getting ready for potty training. The signs usually are if they start to pull at their nappy, are dry for long periods of time. It could also be that she is recognising that she is wetting her nappy and does not like the feeling of being wet. From working with kids that also could be a reason for her pulling her nappy off.

It may or may not be my 19 month old loves taking his nappy off because he thinks hes really clever being able to undress himself like his big brother(4). He also likes to dress himself in pants like his brother but there is no way he is ready for the potty. Wait for the more conventional signs like staying dry, telling you when done a wee or asking for a nappy change.

My 2 1/2 year old often does this. She isn't potty trained but simply enjoys the feeling off running around without a diaper on. When the diaper is off, she often pees on the floor; perfectly natural. She removes the diaper because she can ! Nothing to do with potty training as far as I can see.

its definately a sign of potty training i have just trained my daughter who is 2 & 1/2. it may be she just wasnt quite ready last time, i used a sticker chart for every time she went on the potty and i took the potty everywhere with us & left her in
knickers, she hasnt wore a nappy since apart from bedtime. make a big deal of her wearing the knickers & tell her how big she is etc. good luck!!

try leaving her nappy off and leave a potty in the room. even if she only sits on the potty, but doesnt do anything, give her lots and lots of praise.once you start potty training, dont stop, she has to train herself to recognise when she needs to go and to give herself time to get to the potty before "letting go". good luck

Go for it!!! She sounds ready to me.
My daughter did exactly the same thing. It also helps if she has a potty training buddy.
Don't use pull ups, that confuses them.
Watch out for the bedtime nappies, they come off without you realising too! :-)

I think shes probably ready to potty train , girls do seem to catch on very quickly, what i suggest is leave her without a nappy whilst indoors , and keep trying her on the potty after meals, drinks , and when she wakes up after a nap. also you could try the pull up pants.
