of course there are. we all have something that is not easy to come to grips with, in our past. whether it be a sin against God, or a sin against a person or even animal, we find ourselves embarrassed to bring it up.
that is the great thing about God and Christ, you can pray to them silently and they know your heart and prayer without you having to speak outloud.
it's a realy great thing and a nice way to relieve a burden.

There is no such thing as a hidden sin. God already knows what you have done. Since he is the once you have to repent to for it, I would think it should be fairly easy to ask forgiveness. Now if the sin is against another person and you feel like it should be resolved between the two of you, you can write a note, or do it in person. Ultimately though you have to make peace with God for all. Do what's right and it will lighten the load. Life is too short to carry excess baggage.

God loves us all, every one, no matter what we have done, thought, or how long we have neglected God. But within that love God wants us to learn from our past and not to repeat old follies. It is difficult to give the sincere suggestions you would like without knowing more precisely what you feel was a "hidden sin", whom you want to be clean with (God? Yourself? Some person? Some religious organization?) and what path to God you want to follow. As others have said, it may help you to know that nothing is hidden from God, and nothing is too much for God to forgive if you are keen to follow God's way now.
There is a true story of a Hindu man who went to Gandhi during inter-fath troubles in India, which may help you to find your own answer to your fearful hiding and the challenge of coming clean. This man said to Gandhi that a Muslim man had killed his son and that he, the speaker, had killed a Muslim in revenge. How can I expiate this sin of killing? he asked Gandhi. "Adopt an orphan boy," the wise man said "who has lost both his parents in this fighting." The Hindu was relieved at this counsel, which seemed acceptable to him. But Gandhi was not finished. "And see to it that this boy is a Muslim and that you bring him up as one."

God looks on the heart. It's VERY difficult to confess things in front of men. If you have wronged someone directly, you may need to go to that person and make things right. But otherwise, you need only confess your sins to Jesus and He is just and faithful to forgive you [1 John 1:9, paraphrased]. It's no one else's business, and God is big enough that you can confess directly to Him. Like it or not, Christians can be VERY judgemental, in spite of the fact that we all have sinned. [Romans 3:23, paraphrased]

1 John 1:9 says, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness."
The fact that you acknowledge there is a "hidden sin" means you are half way home. We all have those in our lives, it just that most will never admit it. It is to your credit that you do.
So, confess it to God. Talk to Him about it. He will not only forgive you but will purify you of it. He will begin to make the changes that are needed in your heart for you to be free of whatever it is. He is faithful to do that everytime we ask him to do it.
You will be in my prayers today...

Coleen, there are no sins that are hidden from God. God knows everything about you, anyway. Whatever you do, whatever you think whatever you've done, God knows about it, so what's the problem? I think it's other people maybe, possibly those who you have hurt.
Well, Jesus has instructions on this. If you know you've offended someone, you have to go to them and sort it out. But don't forget, they're sinners too!

The Apostle Paul asked God to remove a thorn in flesh, and
make him perfect. And God said, "CHILL OUT!" My GRACE
is enough for you.
God understands this world better than we do. And He doesn't expect perfection. Man is the one who always demands perfection, because he himself cannot be perfect.
Salvation comes from accepting our imperfections. Realizing
we don't have the right to look down our nose at anybody
else. Forgiveness is the key. And we must learn to forgive
ourselves for being human. Before we can learn to forgive anyone else.

Paul was chosen by God to carry the message of Jesus farther. Before encountering Jesus, he admittedly murdered Christians and hunted them down. What could you have done that is worse? If God can forgive Paul and then use him for good, why couldn't He do the same for you? God loves you like a parent. Is there anything your parents wouldn't forgive you for? If God can forgive you, shouldn't you forgive yourself?

"Hidden sin"?
When did churches refuse to admit sinners?
Generally speaking, Christians are not required to follow any known biblical laws or rules so why would sin prevent a person from congregating with like minded hypocrites?
Admittedly, each cult has its own unique rules, but most cults do not require admitting anything to anyone.
