No, not since those martians came and turfed us all out, destroying our language, culture and most of Cornwall.
Or, on a more serious note, yes. It's not the same Britain as was around 50 years ago, but that wasn't the same Britain of 50 years previously, and so on. If you're referring to the extent of immigration, they make up a very small proportion of the population, and most places which aren't cities have very few if any. That said, I don't see why immigrants detract from Britishness, as long as they speak the language and work well.
That's not to say I agree with the EXTENT of immigration, I don't, but I don't regard this country as any less British for it. True, there are some places with little or no English people left, but that's only very small parts.

The Island of Britain remains very BRITISH. In certain areas such as Wales, it is ethnically ultra BRITISH. Overall, the population of the UK is made up of 85 percent white ANGLO SAXONS. Of the remaining 15 percent, the next biggest race group are the Celts; the Welsh, Irish and Scots. Only something like 2 to 4 percent of the UK pop is made up of non-whites and non-UK natives. Britishness very largely depends upon what you consider it to be. I was born in 1941 and Britain is a totally different country now to what it was then - yet it is still hugely British. This is borne out by attitudes of fair play, reasonable doubt etc.

Good question!
I think one of the biggest problems that Britain has is the issue of "Political Correctness". We always want to be seen as doing right, to our own disdvantage. Wants wrong with a policy that says you are welcome to live in our country, but don't try to force your ways on us? Almost anyone can visit Saudi Arabia, but how many people would expect the goverment there to allow them set up a Christian School there to cater for Christian immigrants? Obviously that is an extreme case, but why does Britain have to change almost everything just to please others. Even the Head of the Church of England is now multi-faith!
A line should be drawn somewhere!
Is Britain still British? You very well know the answer.

See I find this one a little difficult with the huge exposure to foreign nationalitys, it certainly aint old school britain anymore however it still has a uniqueness to tourism
I worked away for several months, and all i could think of from day 1 was that i wanted to be home, we have a strong economy and a great rugby team lol but our culture is slowly melting away, who cares if god saves this the queen we are guaranteed more
and they will be british.

It never has been Birtish. Just watched a documentary with Eddie Izzard about the British roots and it shows that all along we have never truly been British. Coming from all different parts of the world. Even the Great British Inventions have foreign roots.

No, Britain sadly has lost it's identity, not only as part of the British isles, but all that is or was British I feel. With far too many imigrants in this country now, we may as well be europe or sum such country.

Let me put it this way,I AM British,I WANT to be British! Unfortunately this so called British Government is STOPPING me! Britain, itself as a country, is NOT Britain anymore.The Government has made sure of it by gradually eroding our traditions and cultures and FORCING us to embrace others, which I do NOT want to accept. This Government has forced Britain,as a country,to commit suicide too easily!!!!

I wish it was, everything is geared towards not offending other cultures and we seem to have got lost along the way. If i could i would leave this country. It no longer feels like home.

British is old school
we are multi cultural now. The days of bowler hats and cos blimey guv'nor are over but you can say that about any EEC country as the borders have all dropped you are now a European
