The bible states "Thou shall love thy neighbor".So,why do you feel such animosity towards your illegal immigrant neighbors when the bible clearly states that you should love your neighbor?I don't think the bible meant to say "only love your legal neighbors".

It would explain alot if all ya'll didn't believe in God,but for those that do............

How would you feel if you took someone in and they stayed longer than expected, ate all of your food, watched your TV but didn't give you the remote after you got home from a long day of work, and demanded half of your paycheck just for being there? I work full time, go to school full time, and have never taken any form of government assistance. Anyway, the basic point is: if they break that law, they will break ANY law. Nobody has a problem with LEGAL IMMIGRATION. Everyone should have a problem with ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION. The bible also refers to taking your punishment when you break the law, and that even doing that is evil. Anybody that has been around long enough knows that you don't willingly take criminals into your house. That would jeopardize your family. WHICH SHOULD TAKE PRECEDENCE OVER YOUR ILLEGAL NEIGHBORS.

They were supposed to be my NEIGHBORS, not move in with me without permission. I don't think you are going to accomplish anything by using religion for your cause any better than pulling out the tattered race card. I can pull this crap back on you actually. Do these people act like neighbors or invaders who are entitled to whatever they see and want? Are you going to gripe at God Himself when He decides who may or may not enter heaven---if it were possible would you sneak in those poor illegals (by this I mean anybody who didn't make it into heaven) who live in hell? It doesn't matter if they are not ENTITLED to heaven, does it, only that they are suffering and want a better afterlife? They could have come in legally, but it was too hard to pay the price of living a good honest life.

you'd be surprised at the amount of anger within Christians and Catholics, its suppose to be the most forgiving and tolerant religion (if you read the bible, full of love thy neighbor and forgive those that trespass, and so on) and yet there has been more death in the name of that god then any other through out history. I think it has to do with its refusal to change, it remains a sexist religion, allowing only men to advance through its ranks, and while women will defend it to the hilt, if it where a company that stop women advancing the same people would want to crush it. Alot of these people cling to the doctrines of the religion without stopping o think on it.

the bible also state to fallow laws , which by the way Illegals are not doing ! and fact is he says love thy neighbor not your countries neighbor you know maybe we should just let any and everyone come here then or system would really go in the toilet and we could become a great giant welfare state o we already are well sure i bet everyone wouldn't mind paying 100 % tax's to pay for them too hum stop feeling guilty because they come from a screwed up nation if they stayed there they could fix there corrupt nation and not have to come here fact is in Mexico they have one of the most richest nation in natural resources but seeing that they are a corrupt country they push to send there poor here !! you pay for em I'm tired of paying

WHY is it you pro-illegals ONLY want to pick out certain things from the bible that SEEMS to suit YOUR point of view????

God said to "love your neighbor", but he did NOT say to let that neighbor come to your house and MOOCH off you!!!!!!

He also said "Thou shalt not COVET thy neighbors land, wife, etc, etc"!!!! HEY....Isn't this EXACTLY what the ILLEGALS are doing???!!! COVETING something that they have NO right to!!!!!!

The bible ALSO says to "OBEY they laws of the land". That means NOT sneaking over here ILLEGALLY!!!! We have laws AGAINST that!!!!

The bible ALSO says,"Give unto Ceaser that which is Ceasars and unto God, that which is Gods'"!!!! That means PAYING TAXES ( with a VALID social security number), because that is the LAW of this land!!!!

The bible says "Thou shalt NOT steal"!!! Yet. illegals STEAL other people's i.d.'s all the time, therefor causing great financial harm to others!!!!

I could go ON, but i'm sure you get my drift!!!!

Well, I believe in God and I believe in 'love thy neighbor'..... but no where in the Bible do the people lay down for invasion or law breakers. Are you saying that because of 'love thy neighbor', we can't convict criminals? That someone breaks into my house and steals my things and I'm supposed to say, "ok, well, I love you". Or do I say, "I forgive you, but you're still going to jail!" Even Jesus said to follow the laws of the land you are in. These are our laws, they should follow them. If you really want to help immigration, here are a few things you can do:
1. educate yourself on the laws and work LEGALLY to get them fixed
2. promote immigration by helping at a number of charitible organizations that sponsor new immigrants
3. work within your community to encourage more companies to sponsor workers legally

Why do you bible thumpers try this crap? You get shot down every time!! It's convenient how you leave out "thou shalt not lie" (multiple IDs) and thou shalt not steal (stolen S.S. numbers) and you also leave out the part about having to obey the laws of the land. Politics and religion don't go together. Any more brain busters?

lol. your kidding, right? They are not neignbors in that sense. keep reading the bible and tell me when you reach the part about coveting thy neighbors property and to following the rules when your in another country and don't take advantage of the host country.

Someone posted a bunch on how the bible says illegals must go home, you'll get it.

I fully believe in God and what he stands for. I do love my neighbor and try to get along with all races but it also says that thou shall not covent thy neighbors wife, home and etc ........, seems to me like people are trying to take my home.
