False teaching--written in modern times by a preacher with some of his own ideas about God--it is full of historical inaccuracies and is contrary to God's Word--the Bible.

basically watched a documentary in this undertaking Sunday... captivating! I for one do think of it is actual. there have been initially over 30 gospels written; besides the fact that they have got been culled right down to the 4 we many times be attentive to in the present day. This became into achieved to furnish the non secular authority solid leverage in subjugating the hundreds to obedience. The documentary meant one available reason the Gospel of Judas became into skipped over is with the help of the fact it contradicted the church of the time and it is attempt to demonise Judaism - it became into suffering to triumph over the Roman persecution of Christians by making use of conserving the Jews greater-so in charge for the subject concerns and ills of the worldwide (regrettably they have been effectual in spreading this bile). The scientific checks coach the papyrus and ink certainly do come from an identical era whilst the different gospels have been being transcribed. this is in an identical historical language because of the fact the different gospels that have been discovered. As I reported, this is an exceedingly exciting undertaking! As a question of notice; maximum gospels weren't easily written by making use of the unique Apostles themselves - they have been written one to 2 hundred years after their deaths. they are transcriptions of information, teachings and letters.

Yeah, the Mormons have a big thing about this too. That is, their entire religion is based on the gospels of "the missing years of Jesus' life." Bunch of crap.

I have seen some writings of "missing years of Jesus". But what I read was saying that Jesus wasn't really divine, but just a "copycat". This is blasphemy.
I haven't read the book you speak of. Beware of what you read. It can put lies into your mind that can be hard to get rid of.
